Nifty Figure. I like that his accessories are metal.

^ :lol

So anyway...
Mine showed up today... pretty impressed with the figure over all. The weapons are pretty insane and actually kind of dangerous if you're not careful! About drew blood on my hand trying to put one of the knives in his hand and stabbed myself! Ha!!

Everything is well detailed and looks dead on in person! The knife on the boot wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Only took me a few minutes to get it on. I started the loops on the straps off the figure then took off the boot and slid everything on then tighten down the straps. A lot easier that way.

So after checking everything out, I started with the body swap. I only had the upper half of the seamless body because I needed to use the lower half for something else. So I just took the top half of the body off the stock figure and replaced it with the seamless arm figure. To me it looks a lot better and more realistic. Going to keep him like this as I prefer the seamless arms.

Here are a few pics after the body swap

Nice pics! Looks nice with a seamless, but do you think the body is too small for the head?

Thx man! I measured and the width of the lats are about 1.5 mm thinner than the stock... same with the waist... gives more of a v shaped upper body...

but honestly I think its more the crappy cell phone pic that's doing it. I think its that chitty iPhone pic distortion.

Here's a more natural setting pic... looks more realistic to what it looks like in person. It takes away from some of that fisheye pic the iPhone does...

Got my Riddick yesterday and I have to say I am impressed. The only issue I had with him was one of the hand pegs were a tad too stiff and I broke one moving it. Basically me not being careful enough and of course I was excited to be finally getting a proper Riddick figure. Here are a couple of quick pics.

Yeah i swapped out those pegs for some hot toys ones after breaking them both lol. The funny thing is i just wanted to see how they ht pegs would match the figure better since they are painted and they both broke off in the hand. At least i dont have to worry about them breaking if i want to change hands. :lol

Never force hands or any part of our high end dollies. They will break.

A few seconds with a hair dryer or hot water is your friend.

Yeah but AF didnt warn anyone how cheap their hand pegs were. Its a good thing they give u spares. Ht pegs have almost never broke on me, in fact most of the time the wrist comes out before the hand ever breaks off. I think maybe 2 ht figs out of my whole collection has ever broke pegs.

Yeah same here. HT peg's rarely break. As far as Boy Black goes, he will stay in the Detolf the way he is for sometime now. He looks good with the blades in hand.

Does anyone know if there were ever any 1/6 scale creatures made from any of the 3 movies? I was thinking of coverting some NECA baby Kaijus and turning them into the mud creatures from the 3rd movie. Suggestions?

So I got some Baby Kaiju's on clearance at the Local TRU. Still need to paint but here is some photoshopped colors for now.image.jpg

Received this figure from Hong Kong today. The seller paked it really well so the art box was in perfect condition. After the stories of broken wrist pegs I was all ready to be super careful but upon opening the box they were already broken. :rotfl Luckily there are extra pegs. I might use those and leave my spare hot toys ones as is for the moment.

I really like the sculpt and will have a play over the weekend to find the right pose but my gut feeling is the Chronicles of Riddick poster pose that this fig seems to portray so well.
