SDCC and NYCC exclusive:

"Indian" Jones Artifact Crate Paperweight (3 collections) $35 each
Each crate features a detachable magnetic whip and fedora, a removable crate lid and rubber snakes.
Collections are randomly packed. Every crate will contain one of three artifact collections. Collection 1 includes: the Golden Idol and Temple Tablet. Collection 2 includes: the Sankara Stones and Holy Grail Cup. Collection 3 includes the Krystal Skull.

So a real bummer--you don't get the full set, just one of three at random.

Am I reading that right that you PGM members will be able to buy this post NYCC even if they're or not going to SDCC?

Tom, I think you posted information for the wrong product...that's for Indian Jones, we're interested in Indiana Jones...

I want the set with the Idol, I don't care about the others really but it'd be neat to have the full set.

Well, they'll either curse your sanity, your wallet or both...

That's usually the way they do it, but I'm only a PG member for two more days...

Did somebody say "Indian"?

Right but in the past it was the raffle. The way I read it you can straight up order. Which if thats the case I'll order mine ASAP and then be worry free come July.

Actually, it's true--the last convention exclusive they sold to PG members (holo Maul) wasn't a raffle, but a first come/first served regular order. I hope they continue with that, for the sake of those who will be renewing their memberships. The raffles were just no fun for the most part.

I am going to continue with the Potter bust line and the Star Wars animated maquettes, but I am boxing up most of my GG stuff this weekend and it will all be on eBay soon.

Yeah, the Holo Maul was a straight up order. Which I prefer over the stupid ass raffles. Like I said this will make July worry free on the Indy and LOTR pieces anyways but Anakin I'll still have to fight for.

Just posted this at GGC and wanted to share:

Indy Gets a New Look!

You can toss the old pictures of the Indy Mini Bust out the window! Our friends at Mousedroid.com posted the below picture as part of the Australian Toy Fair where Indy sports a new sculpt and idol in hand! With plenty of buzz on the boards, we went direct to Gentle Giant Ltd to ask what was going on. Was it a variant or show exclusive or was this the new updated Indy?

GG has confirmed to GGC that this is the most recent version, but not the final version. They are still in the approval stage with Lucas but I think everyone will agree this is a great improvement from what was seen in New York and a welcome improvement. Nice Job GG!

With that lighting, it is nigh-impossible to tell what the sculpt looks like...

With Sideshow's PF I'm even reconsidering my 1/6 Indy since it'll be the definitive piece to own....
