Masked portrait is, fortunately, an easy fix. The other, although a small break, will bother me.
Will see what SS say.

Love it GB. The base is especially cool.
To small to go with the Pred Maquette and too big to go with the 1:5 Statue.
May just display next to Red Sonja, until the new RS comes in.

Sent email containing pictures to Sideshow returns department but I have a bad feeling i'm going to be left with an item I will always know has flaws. The unmasked portrait, although small, isn't a clean break so I can't put it right.

I really hope they prove me wrong or, with this being my first purchase direct since the Big Chap fiasco, I will be forced to look elsewhere or retire from collecting.
Waiting so long only to open the box and find issues is very disheartening.

Also this cost me £135, using hard earned Reward Points, and Fed-Ex billed me £63 duty.
Nearly 50% of the purchase price which is absolutely ridiculous!

:goodpost: it's just so negative when we wait so long and have a PO for something we wanted to buy only to get it with real flaws and they don't offer a replacement. So then the option is take the 20.00 to 30.00 and keep it or send it back and we don't get one. I really don't like he only 2 options they give us. I never had a problem with pcs like ss. I hope in the future more companies takes away some ss shares to make them improve in the future. They have enjoyed the many years as the statue monopoly and it's slowly coming to a end. That's a great sign for sure. Like this I will suck it up and keep my chipped green hulk since I waited so long for it. Or else send it back and don't have this. :( Yep that's ss take it as is or return it and be out of the one you waited on for a year. Not to mention the rising cost going up so much faster than inflation. Hope they come through for you. It's a simple head replacement so I think this time they will do it only because it's not attached to the body. That way shipping etc will be far less for them so hope it will work out.

Yeah, I hear ya with some of those bills added on! I think it was $88 in customs for me, plus the poor exchange. I'm sorry to hear that yours had some rough damage, and I hope Sideshow is able to sort you out one way or another! It's definitely disheartening to see how some shipping companies treat their fragile shipping boxes by just tossing them around as though they're empty.

I hear you with knowing there's damage there. That'd bother me too. That said, I hope that the breakers were fixable enough that you can pose her without seeing them. I know the damage is there, but at least it looks like it's somewhat out of view if you have her on a shelf...at least I hope that's the case for ya. I'm glad you love her other than the damage, and I hope Sideshow is able to resolve it for you...a thought that I'll continue below...

^^^ I think they will give you a replacement head - don't see any reason why they won't!

They'll definitely give him a replacement head IF they have it! Someone mentioned earlier that because the ES is so low, Sideshow doesn't have replacement parts for it. While it'd make sense not to have lots of replacement bodies around, I think making some extra heads and/or spears or things like that would make sense. Things that can break should have replacements available, even when the ES is low.

I hope they have some spares laying around for you, and again, if not I hope that you were able to fix it enough that they can compensate with a partial refund, and that it won't bother you too much when the piece is on the shelf.

I was offered $25 credit and to glue it back together myself. Meh, kind of expected more customer service but the way SS is run these days I'm not too surprised.

Anyone else feel like the shoulder cannon should attach better? Or am I missing a magnet or something. The peg and hole seem awfully short.

'Expect the worst, hope for the best'.

Mike's sending me two replacement heads :yess: :D

Congrats man! Glad they had some there for ya. Those were pretty busted up, so hopefully the new pieces that come will arrive intact! I know it's still a long way for them to travel, but I also know they pack those single replacement pieces really well in bubble wrap!

And now you can just enjoy her! I love her every time I see her...she's just gorgeous! It's definitely one of my favourite pieces, without question. So much going on, and the detail and paint work is incredibly well done! If Red Sonja comes out like this, then I'll be more than happy!

My replacement heads arrived in perfect condition and I decided to display her with the Warrior LSB...

Can I say it looks good, without quoting the pic again, right below your pic? :)))

Ok, here goes - Looks really good together. I want to try same, but hate it how my besta doors with the thicker frame hide too much.
