How disappointing. As a huge Punisher fan, I feel so letdown by this release. If it was $150 or so, I can still swallow it, but at this price range? Forget about it.

I want it but the price bugs me.

I realize it's a Disney thing, but I would have preferred less stylized pistols/rifle. I'm not an expert on that sort of thing, but those don't look like they are based on real weapons... Guess I'll have to buy one of those 1/6 weapons kits...

I'm having that same issue with Deadpool. His machinegun looks ridiculous. These at least seem toned down from that. I can see myself jumping on this but everyone is totally right on the price. Its pretty damn nuts that Sideshow thinks their products warrant that. $200 is perfect for this.

No. No. No. That's not the Punisher. That's some designers thinking they can improve on the Punisher, a character with 40 years history. No different from what Singer does with the X-Men movies. I only want what's in the pages of the comics, is that so hard? You think they would have learned after the G.I. Joe line tanked.

How cool would this have been with a removable jacket and bandana?

He looks pretty cool in that tactical vest, and the headsculpt is awesome. I agree with all other points... Too expensive, the gloves and boots look off with the rest of the outfit, and the weapons look made up.

I want this, but no way am I paying $250+ with shipping. Why do these companies think they can charge HT prices?

Because Deadpool is a little out there anyway, Weapon X program, and all that, I didn't mind it so much that his guns weren't real. But Punisher is such a basic character. I guess it could be suggested that someone made them for him. But I'd prefer 80's military hardware for him.

EXACTLY!! What is Sideshow doing?!? :goodpost::goodpost::goodpost:
I would have purchased it instantly if it was more of a Tim Bradstreet Punisher.

Man I love punisher. But this one will go on the back burner, hoping I could score one later on at a decent non ridiculous price.

I don't think with Sideshow making almost 30 figures in their GI Joe line it's considered a "tanked" line

Yeah, you're right, it did not tank but it did lost traction at the end. Sadly, some of the last few were really good. Or at least had a ton of potential.

that would be a pretty easy custom figure to make. Heres the gun:

lol just realized Predator came out in 87 and War journal came out in 89, they were probably inspired by this same gun:lol

From the size of those holsters, a pair of really cool monster magnums would have been great...They at least are based on actual handguns...I know DAM toys already did one for their punisher figure...the problem with SS handguns, or at least revolvers, is that they can be really lacking on detail and oversized...Case in point is that big magnum that came with SS Gen. Hawk...Anyway, I agree here that while I would love to see him come with some really cool guns that we havent already seen time and time again, it would be nice if they were based on guns that were actually in existence...
