Wow... that looks pretty cool! How much modding went into getting the helmet to fit that headsculpt?

I had to dremel down the head quite a lot to get it to fit. I still might take off a little more at the back so it sits a little lower. Undecided right now so wanted to leave it for a bit and see what I think later. Don't wanna do too much!

That head sculpt won't ever be able to be used without the helmet though, thats for sure! I just think it will be nice to have the new calm Thor and this one as ass-kicking Thor!

Just that little bit extra height and appearance might make him seem a better fit with the rest of the AoU lineup. Thor to me needs physical presence.

Yeah I agree, I like that he is bigger than Cap and Tony in the movie, so this should help him, especially with the size of AoU Cap.

I see from this picture that the mjolnir is greater, as well as the forearm and shoulder appear more muscular.
Indeed, if added up changed, corrections are manifold.
Beautiful photos to compare.

I highly doubt they'd remake/recast Mjolnir. Most likely that's the LED electronic one in hand.

This figure looks great and the silver is much better than the gold, the only thing I wish he had was armoured sleeves. Would anyone know if you could put the armoured sleeves from the avengers thor on the AoU one or would it be better to get the armoured TDW thor and out the new outfit and Cape from AoU on?

Not sure what to do as I want one thor ne this is perfect apart from the bare arms :/

Probably easier to put this versions outfit on th armor body. Also, you could buy the removable early Thor sleeves and try those.

I was thinking about buying the sleeves, but was worried they wouldn't fit over the arms and the gauntlets wouldn't fit either. I know you can get the original Thor undershirt but the sleeves look silly.

Haven't seen an armoured body on eBay so would have to buy a whole figure, trying to avoid that unless I can get one chepish. Any advice?

There's a few body's on eBay. 161715228967 Here's one. I saw a few more. I'm not sure if the sleeves would fit to be honest. Have not tried it. Maybe I'll pick a set up, give it a try. But, it would be easier to use the dw armor body.

Well I bought the AoU Thor, so now I'm trying to find a TDW Aromored Thor. Don't want to have to pay that much as I just need the body. Thanks for the advice and help guy/girls

I have an armored Dark World Thor that I am looking to sell too. It's in excellent condition, and I'm selling it well below MSRP. (I've been asking around this forum and the DW Thor forum before I turn to the commerce forums and then eBay).

But, if you just want the body and nothing more, then eBay is probably your best bet.
