This one would be perfect, THE '54 to own.

I agree. Which is funny, because the current X-Plus looks very similar, but something about it has always seemed 'off' to me. It's not quite accurate, but I can't articulate why I feel that way... Does the neck seem too long to anyone else?

Is it possible that the head is just a shade too big for the body overall as opposed to a skinny neck?

The head proportion ia definitely part of the problem but even just looking at his torso down, his body looks a bit thin, especially in profile, and his legs are almost the same thickness from hip to foot where the '54 has fat thighs leading to really thin ankles and big feet.

X-Plus is one of the better '54 figures out there but for me it lacks to many standout traits of the suit to like it. Basically the head and spines are great, the rest has more interpretation than I care for.

I love the x-plus 54 I think he has great shelf presence. But I have seen some kits of him that look straight out of the movie

I'm shocked at collection pics, he's huge compared to other 30cm X-Plus and he should be smaller in scale.

Can't beat Banpresto '54 for a mass released piece, there are some amazing, more rare kits.

The only non-Sakai '54 pieces I own are the DVD set head, X-Plus maquette replica, and the original Bandai Japan 6" vinyl, I have the Banpresto, concept works and I forget the product pine but it's a 4" '54 from Bandai by Sakai as well, so small but amazing sculpt, one of my favorites.

[h=2]A new King Kong vs. Godzilla is being planned as Kong: Skull Island moves from Universal to Warner Bros.[/h]Something big is brewing today as Deadline reports that Legendary’s upcoming Kong: Skull Island has moved from Universal to Warner Bros. According to the outlet, that’s because Legendary is keen on developing a new King Kong vs. Godzilla movie and are making efforts to keep the gargantuan beasts under the same distributor. Skull Island remains on track for a March 10, 2017 with a sequel to Gareth Edwards’ Godzilla planned for June 8, 2018. After that, the Eighth Wonder of the World will take on the King of Monsters in an as-of-yet untitled King Kong vs. Godzilla feature!

Unfounded rumors.

Still waiting for stores to get him around here, looked yesterday and nothing, can't wait to get him though, lots of pics out there and he looks so good.
