You're right. Punisher does not look like $200+! Neither does Deadpool for $230!

As for Star Wars I've still got Kenner/Hasbro 12" Tie Pilot, AT AT Driver, Jawas, R5-D4, Darth Maul, and C-3PO and R2-D2 to keep me happy.

Sideshow 1/6 Marvel might have been worth it $130 or less.

They are gonna kill this line and they just started!!!!

Face looks ok for kitbashing, the rest does not. It looks like a mix of the worst possible outfits!

Sideshow just doesn't get it...

Looks like a average kitbash figure.

I'd get the sculpt and make my own.

Sideshow making their own interpretations of GIJoe characters - Good?

Everything else - Bad?

Can't have it both ways. :lol

Ya, I don't understand the faded symbol, if the gloves/boots are bright white. Also, the pants are very baggy. I would also prefer if he was taller than Deadpool.
The Tie and AT-AT figures look great! Darth Maul looks pretty good as well.
Also, disappointing to see that Wolverine's body is as tall as Deadpool's. I was really hoping they would make him a little shorter...

Eh, this looked wsy more promising from that preview pic. I hate how short the gloves are. Also don't see the reason to give him white gloves and boots, when they went with the more tactical look rather than classic spandex.

what are you talking about? You collected Sideshow's Joe line :dunno

Yes,they added their "interpretations" to them and they were not specifically card art that you whined about, but the figures are STILL nice!

Sideshow still doesn't get it doing these Marvel figures

:lol

Of course not. SSC Joe and CB related figures are nice starting kits for custom figures, but nothing more. And they are charging more and more for something so poorly thought out considering that its a licensed product. Their "interpratations" are just chunks of actually good designs sewn together and processed through "realistic details" machine with zero understanding of what works and what does not.

Can't have it both ways. :lol
Unfortunately Sideshow's brilliant logic will tell them that customers are to blame, not their design department.

P.S. inevitable "too much negativity" comment incoming!

I'll echo every ones sentiment. Boots look like hell SST. Give him black combat boots and either black gloves or no gloves and I'll buy it. This? No way in hell.

This.
And what punisher doesn't have some type of gun in his hand?
1/6 or 1/4 scale punisher comiquette, I'm telling you, it would sell like crazy. :)
Look at the price the original is going for now. A grand and up. There is a reason.

Pics appears to be at comic-con

As most people are saying with the Punisher having a combination of looks the Revenger figure looks better. The Skull should be a bright white and the gloves should be longer and he should have the classic Zeck outfit. Or Sideshow should have gone more modern and put him in black tactical gear like all of the other military figures out there. I was hoping for more classic Punisher since he can easily be bashed in the modern look. I want to see a close up of the headsculpt though. Still my favorite comic character but nothing spectacular yet on this announcement.

Guess I'll have to pass on this if it's just a tactical Punisher that I can bash. Wanted a classic one to go with my custom one, but guess not. The Medicom Classic looks more to my liking. Just saved me some money.

Now that Shane from The Walking Dead has been cast as the Punisher in Netflix's Daredevil series I'll be waiting on Hot Toys to make that version. Hopefully, fingers crossed. An Elektra from that series would be nice too...and what the heck, throw in a Daredevil.

I agree with most, not a fan of what I see so far. The bright white looks bad with the faded logo. Those boots are horrible. This seems to be a figure that will need to be modded with other parts to make it look good.
