I've actually been looking at this 10.25" statue of Pazuzu as maybe a possible option for posing behind the bed.... if I can bring myself to overlook the fact it's got a slightly Monsters Inc'ish face and is missing the old stiff one eye:

I love how they call it "your" Pazuzu in the description :lol. That looks like a good possible plan B, just wish it was a little more accurate (I never thought I'd be concerned with shlong accuracy; what have I become?)

I make a joke about the key chain because of the one that was included in Alex's set and I forget which other release it was, but he asked if that was something we'd like for a FS secret item. Don't get me wrong, the Clockwork key chain is cool, as is Bill's 1:1 eye or the 237 key but personally those type of extras aren't what I look for in this hobby. It's all about things that are in relevant scale for me.

Would you really display a 4-5 inch version together with this set though?

Once at my old house there was a banana that would never go bad and I thought maybe it was possessed, I used to stare at it while I ate my fruit loops and drink my fruity milk from the bowl. For 3 years I stared at that banana during Thanksgiving, Kwanzaa, Ramadan and Yamim Tovim, nothing changed. I poke it with a stick , my finger, my wifes finger, a strangers finger even had the mailman touch it but NOTHING. One day I got the courage to finally ask the banana " Are you the SPAWN of Satan you evil BANANA?", he got so mad he got up and left! I guess That's how you make a banana split.......

Who would have thought there would be two back to back Rainman releases during which people would essentially have time to purchase exactly what they want?

Strange times.
 
went and paid for version 2 last week, never went for the bed as i need to pay and order all 4 teenage turtles by threezero. so now i hope the version 2 bed will stil be AVAILBLE for next sundat as i only get paid monthly.

but in all honesly i should,ove just jumped on the bed and full figure and got it out of the way - coz u can always pick the turtles up anytime round about original price :slap


being a huge horror fan this was a no brainer - was on betos list time back , so happy this was finally done and in a more than perfection way.

such a beautiful set i love it!!!!!!!!!

I know this is the second time ever when instead of a mad scramble - anyone who wanted it got what he / she needed and in-spite of this one not being an open order! I think the madness for much of the stuff is dying out for two reason:

1) very high quality of outfits that people are able to club with good sculpts to get their desired look and feel on stuff that they really want! (For instance and not an artist comparison but a genuine plead! - I really prefer the styles of Jake rahmier etc when it comes to painting - he is a legend in the making! Even iminime somehow has started painting their figures like a "bare min brush" never a fan of that style!
2) there is a dearth of subject material that will excite just the right amount of "crazy scramble" - I think if he does that Dracula figure - it will be a walk down the memory lane for cart jacking and mad scrambles! And yes whining and bitching!

Honestly and personally I am now at" I have most of what I wanted" - still there are a few that I wld die for (Dracula being one) but that pace is slowing down for me personally! Also, i genuinely believe (still) in keeping and buying what I like than chasing the hype!

But Yes I think if anyone bought dx etc simply with the philosophy of parting and reselling later on (there will be some challenge!)

Having said all of the above kudos to the man for fulfilling the desire for a niche set of audience! This was never even remotely desirable for me but it was good fun to see the man do his magic'

I do, do hope for that grey suite gary old man Dracula with those shades! Now that I will shed blood for!!! :)

You are correct there are a lot of people producing great figures out there. Plus the Avengers two figures and Star Wars figures by Hot Toys are extremely popular and consuming a lot of money. I think the two figures were released too soon and even people with deep pockets $4500 is a lot on two DXX. I agree a Gary Oldman Dracula will be great but I also don't think it's not as popular as you think Leon . It might not be so chaotic especially if he does another 2K set.
 
The reason this didnt sell out immediately is subject matter. I see no other reason behind it - simply put people dont want it in their house. Torrance sold (including hc) like 150+ sets. If this was more to everyones taste, it would be a mad scramble. But its satan and a lot of religious ppl just dont **** with satan.

I think you've hit the nail on the head. Some people are religious, and some religious people are scared of having a character like this in their house.

Think Dracula as a tragic, romantic lead, Gary Oldman with the handbrake snapped right the **** off, Winona Ryder making people wonder if she would really have been that much of an improvement over Sofia Coppola in The Godfather Part III and Anthony Hopkins totally wasted. Actually, scrap that. Just think...Keanu Reeves...English accent :pow

To be fair though, Coppola could still pull off some cracking visuals back then and it's certainly gorgeous to look at.
