Well I certainly did not say that. I made a comment on posing ability over the long term. Everyone has their own opinions about the rubber on figures. All I am saying is that I would be afraid to pose this in a dynamic pose for a long period of time. I am not trying to convince others to not buy it - as I stated earlier overall it is a great looking figure and most people will get it and find a way they like to display it. I am still holding out hope for another armored figure with helmet in the future - probably wishful thinking I know but that is the look I would like to get.

The arm pit area seems covered up better in the dynamic pose on this version. There was a gap that was annoying on the Dark World version on some of the overhead poses.

I'm fine with the rubber arms because I won't be putting this into very dynamic poses anyways - the poses just end up looking really weird a lot of times due to the lack of expression on the face sculpt. That's why I had to get a extra face sculpt for the dynamic poses on my Enterday Jordan.

Never really had issues with the rubber deteriorating on my figures (even cheaper non hot toys figures), but that may be because I don't play with or pose them too often.

I have a question for anybody who has light armor Thor. How different other than the headsculpt do you think this one looks? I could scroll through and compare pics but I would rather hear from somebody that has it. Thanks.

Haven't done a close comparison, the only things I noticed initially:

1. Different Hair Sculpt
2. Cape on AOU version looks like a darker red - more "velvetty"
3. The added undershirt in the AOU version - really like how this looks and hides the joints.
4. Silver armor accents for AOU version vs goldish accent

I really like this Thor, it could be my first. As cool as the Light Armor figure is, I think this head sculpt's even better.

I was going to get light armor Thor, but I feared for my safety as well. After reading your post however, I will roll the dice on this one.

As I've stated I've got every single rubber figure made to date and not a single one has any issues. 20 plus figures. And customs with the Dutch and LA Thor body with no issues. And I don't do crazy poses or anything but they don't stand there arms straight down. Thor's got his hammer smash pose (my LA Thor has been in that pose from the day it came out). One custom with the LA body is a wolverine and it's in a slash pose. No issues. Like I said...the rubber is no more fragile then plastic

It's the undershirt AOU THor has that makes the armpit cut look better

I noticed that AoU Thor wears a somewhat different shoes compared to TDW Thor. At least the soles are different.

Thanks for the feedback... I have a couple of older HT rubber bodies from the old PMC figure and they are holding up. But I was joking around...

Yea I know. But unfortunately even jokes get quoted as proof of the "bad" state of rubber. The majority of the posts, like nearly all, are of a few extreme cases and then that story quoted and referenced by 100 guys. Suddenly 1 case turns into some big epidemic.

yacobschlomo described the main differences, and there are a couple other minor differences in tailoring. HeubertMichael pointed out different shoes, and the only other differences are that the AoU torso discs have little holes, the flaps over the crotch are layered differently, and the AoU version has the little silver bead borders on the blue fabric around the waist (like on the chest).

I think Gamora is the only one you really need to worry about. I could see the could see the color change on mine (due to stretching) on her arm. The rubber is ok but the metal in it will just tear it up.
