At sixth scale he's smaller than the Hulk but still about seven feet tall?

Huh? He's 8ft tall should be around Hulks height, not sure what your prices and diecast comments refer to tho?

Regardless of him not being as prominent in the movie as one would have thought, I still really hope HT makes an Ultimate Ultron figure. Prime is great in the movie, but I really love his final form the most.

I liked Prime more (screen presence and design-wise), but yeah I still hope that HT makes Ultimate Ultron since he looked so cool.

Gotta be honest, Ultron was a bit of a let down to me. He was a little too cheesey and not enough bad ass as portrayed in the first trailer.

I absolutely loved him. I really liked how he was characterized and developed as an "evil" Tony Stark, but...

... I do wish he got better moments in his Ultimate Ultron form. Prime was a mix of badass and patronizing sarcasm and while Ultimate Utron got really cool introductory scenes, I didn't like the choppy pacing and poor scenario-writing in the final battle. It wasn't bad by any means, just really underwhelming compared to his outstanding showings when he was still in his Ultron Prime form. His last moments with Vision as a damaged Ultron Sentry completely redeemed any issues I had though, and was possibly my most favorite scene in the entire film.

Ultron was a big let down. Was expecting something that would make people question moralities as a human being, like Ledger's Joker.

But nope, he was crazy, but a little more crazy than Stark crazy...

Except Ledger's Joker never made me question people's morality, considering how he cornered the citizens of Gotham to fit his skewed picture of society.

It was his clever planning and outward demeanor of playing the fool that made him great but otherwise his mindset was that of a textbook sociopath who cleverly disguised himself as a hapless loose cannon.

I thought Ultron actually posed an interesting question in terms of how the Avengers treated their heroics, in which Cap and Iron Man had pretty different answers. In the end, even Ultron was acting out of a very similar fear like any human being, he just had the power and resources to act on it on a biblical scale. He felt he was tasked to help protect the world but felt absolutely frustrated by the fact that humanity's history of violence was indicative of their self-destruction and how the Avengers possessed the resources to end that cycle. It was clear that Ultron viewed this as his one main truth, and he sought to recreate the world in his image as an indestructible being that transcends death.

Joker's goal was to show that anyone can be pushed into insanity. He makes the audience ponder their "fakeness" created by rules and boundries. He succeeded by making Harvey fall.

I don't expect Ultron to have the same goals as Joker, so the comparison is a bit weird. I also felt Avengers is fairly shallow/surface when it comes to expressing deeper conflicts, but we'll see. Haven't seen this one yet... I'm just hearing Ultron just doesn't feel threatening; you never feel that he's actually going to win.

I don't expect the movie to go beyond the surface when it comes to social conflicts, much like the first movie. But we'll see. From what I've been hearing, Ultron is simply not scary.

Again, I'm not dissing on Joker, I LOVE the character and his masterful depiction in TDK, but to expect Ledger's Joker out of Ultron just sets up the wrong expectations when they're very different characters.

Ultron isn't really scary in the frightening/horrific sort of way, even in the comics, but what makes him interesting is how his twisted logic is still born out of a very human belief, and that's something that gives his failures a lot of weight when taken by his lonesome. His schemes and goals have always been very direct and unquestionably evil, but it's his frustrations and sentiment that makes him surprisingly empathetic (and to some degree, even sympathetic when you consider the circumstances of his "birth").

Joker was more of a representative entity that serves to purposefully show bad people can be, whereas Ultron is more of a character of his own whose goals and fixation on godhood are sourced from a very human perspective and fear. His character is less about social implications and more about how a person's fears can easily dominate their decisions to the point of self-destruction.

This was my favorite form of his. He looked so damn evil. I plan on getting every iteration of Ultron. I hope this one doesn't get ludicrous pricing. Though I'm sure it will. I wish Ultron could just wire me the funds like he did Klaw
