I see lots of primed Hulkbusters, that means I'll soon see a bunch of actually finished paint jobs soon. Right?!?

There's some awesome re-paints here! I saw the HB at Walmart a few weeks ago and was pretty impressed with the mold/details. I was kicking around getting one for my son but now I think maybe I'll grab two. Has anyone disassembled it for the re-paint? This seems like a worthy little project. If it comes apart easily enough I might attempt lights. Hell for $35 I might pick up a third and try an Iron Patriot color scheme.

I'm a dumbass and grabbed Krylon Red instead of Cherry Red. Need to go swap it out at Hobby Lobby. Primed him this afternoon and he's drying now. Need to sand down a small drip from where I sprayed too close and hit it with another coat.

also, a hair dryer is handy when spraying. It cuts down on drying time.

I have a paint hood (ie big cardboard box) set up in the back yard in the shade. Nice breeze blowing, doesn't take very long at all for anything to dry.

In Scotland, we have to provide heat to paint for it to dry, lol.

Sprayed him in the empty lot next door. Should be about done drying now. Thankfully it's in the 60s today with lots of sun.

Picked up the last two Hulkbusters at Wal-Mart on the way home from work. Have to pick up paints etc... this weekend. Can't wait to get started.

Hobby Lobby doesn't carry the Tamiya acrylics and what they have doesn't look right. Have to do some looking elsewhere. Got my brushes though.

Gotta say I'm loving the look of this thing in primer grey. Tempted to get a second one and leave this as is lol
