I don't get the NRD scoffing. Should anyone that will even notice paying $82.50 or $100 be buying an $825.00 toy (maybe close to $1k with shipping/taxes)? Think of how many people would preorder this knowing that they can't afford it and then cancel when it comes due, leaving guys like BBTS and SSC with a ton of overstock.

:goodpost:

Not sure what it could be unless it is larger than 1/6 scale, a set of multiple figures (like the rumored Guardians full set), a large vehicle or diorama.

The only thing I can think of might be a Marvel Giant Man. A Sentinel or Galactus would be too big to be made in 1/6 scale I would think. I suppose Giant Man might be too big too.

Hopefully its the Hulkbuster vs Hulk two pack with 1/6 destructible car.

:wink1:

Where's all the here take my money hot toys people now?

Already put in my order with my comic shop. He said he has "several" ordered within the first 30 minutes. He's even buying extra to keep in the store, and this isn't a shop that normally keeps more than 1 or 2 HT in stock.

That's why there are NRDs now

Right here.
Lol congrats! After seeing the video from secret base I definitely want to get this as well, but just gotta figure out the logistics of where to order from since it's $60 plus dollars tax here in California.

It has 30 points of articulation...

This is what I was talking about earlier... I don't understand why people come in a thread of a figure they don't want just to ****** about it. If you don't want it, just ignore the thread... it's not that hard. Those kind of negative comments do nothing but make them look like a whiny tool.

I have to say though people in here calling this a "game changer" and acting as though this price point is going to become the new normal or something are kind of being goofy or just way over-exaggerating. This is clearly an over-sized monstrosity of a figure and it was bound to be expensive. Now I still think it's over-priced but regular figures are likely going to stay around the same price they have been.

Is anyone concerned, or does anyone feel I have reason to be concerned, that Sideshow might limit the number of these they order more so than usual relative to the number of pre-orders?

I've bought 11 Hot Toys in the last 6 months, and I have at least 10 more on pre-order, all to be paid in full, and I've been telling myself I'm definitely getting the Hulkbuster. That being said, the price did give me pause enough not to order it right away. With the NRDs being so popular though, considering they want to avoid overstock, I wonder if this one will be harder to come by once it officially goes on sale.

It's definitely nice, but the size of that thing, it looks like articulation will be limited. Looks like he can barely bend his elbows 90 degrees, and even less with his hips and knees. It doesn't look like it can be displayed in anymore than a regular standing pose.

I can't see any reason that HT would need to make another figure this size again, unless we get another HB in a future movie.

Or (Wishful thinking here) if they ever include Crimson Dynamo in a movie and he is massive. I still don't think he would be this big though.

If you live in the Bay Area I know a place that can get it for you more cheaply.
