Was wondering is it possible to flip the wings whereby you can have the left wing on the ring side etc so you can show the extra detail thats on the back but in front? Or are the connections only one way? (Even though there wouldn't be any access to the handles).

In the movie, the guns rest on his harness just above and behind his hips, but the gun handles are folded up(Which i am assuming the HT ones don't do).
He reaches back(As though going for a hip holsters), the guns spring onto his wrist straps, then unfold and shoot forward so he can fire them. When he's not firing them, they slide back(Viktor Rosta style), so they aren't in his way when he's grabbing the flight handles.

It's a bit of movie fakery. You can't have guns like his that fold up smaller than a cigarette pack and still be machine guns with unlimited ammo, lol.
But for the sake of the movie, we can forgive it.
This post is pic heavy, but i needed to still frame it to get screen grabs to show what happens.

On his hip flaps, we see his *guns* resting as he runs with Cap. They will change slightly later, but that's them(Notice the little gold buckle under the "Cigarette pack guns").

When he is on approach to the carrier(Just after Maria Hill asks his status), and coming in for a landing, he swoops in(Once again, notice the location of the little gold buckle under the "Cigarette pack guns" which are in the same position):

Then he reaches back and his guns(Now ever so slightly larger than they were before), pop onto the wrist guards(And notice the gold buckle, showing they are the same items we saw before):

Ha wow...no wonder I didn't understand where they came from ha I never considered that the guns themselves were collapsible. MCU technology at it's finest.

After months of going back and forth on it. I finally decided to get this figure to join my Iron Man collection. Just loved the movie and the character too much to pass.

I'm thinking of doing the same myself.
I knew they came from almost nowhere, but always assumed they unfolded from the wrist bracers.
It wasn't till the question was asked that I knew for sure.

Got Falcon today, the headsculpt is really good. Backpack is a pain to get on, but it is doable. Now if I can get my flex-paid Cap here I'll have the triumvirate!
