Yes Stark(and probably Banner) make all new stuff for the team, Caps outfit and Shield modifications, Black Widows outfit, widows bite cuffs and batons, Hulks pants, the new Quinjet and Caps bike.... Rhodey will also get new armor. I'm assuming Thor has his magic armor so it cannot be modified outside of Asgard and of course theres the New IM armors

Translation= The marketing team finds a new way to get kids to buy them Avengers toys.

If they don't change this (and I know they won't) I'll pass it too like Mark 42. Or maybe I will buy an Power Pose version if the produce. This part looks really bad to me.

Odd seeing as they added it because they missed it off of the mark 42 figure, can't really expect them to remove something they've added to make it more accurate. lol :)

As excitement builds more and more for AOU, Im so tempted to sell up my current lot and go all out on this line... :gah::panic:

I never completed my Avengers line, I only got Loki, Iron Man VI and VIIBD, and Thor. I was going to go back but then they announced Avengers 2, now I don't see the point. I may still get 1 or 2 figures, like Widow and Fury, the chances are the AOU figures will be better.

So I would wait and see if the figures are better than your current ones(if your worried about duplicates) and then sell the ones you have. I will say though, because I never got the complete A1 line, I will definitely be getting everything from this movie :blissy

The only figures i do not have from the Avengers are Banner and the BD VII. All i will be picking up are IM, Cap, Ultron, Vision, HB and maybe the twins.

Im missing BDVII and MKVI from the Avengers. I cant go all in for a line like Avengers again so Im just going to buy Cap, MK43 and Ultron. If Im going to have a complete Avengers team I want it from the first movie.

I also like that it shows there's a difference between the mark 42 & 43 figures other than colour.

IS there any difference though?

Moveable hip panels aside, this suit looks just like the "Matador" suit from Iron Man Three: Lethal Weapon 2

There's more red in this version instead of the urine color of the IM3 suit, so it's no longer the ugliest IM suit ever, but the rest of the suit looks identical . . . has anyone done a detailed comparison?

Hot Toys saves muchos dinero when they re-use previously tooled armor molds (see 90% of the IM3 line).
Aside from a repaint, this is virtually the Mk 42 all over again.

The Mk 3 and the Mk 6 are leagues better than this busy design, IMO . . . your mileage may vary.

To be fair though the reuse of molds on this and the majority of the HPP suits are hardly Hot Toys fault unless we want them to spend time making Un necessary changes which would which wouldn't be present in the screen used suits. We can all ask why aren't they cheaper but it's not like the car manufacturers lower the price when they come out with a 'new' car which just has slightly different bumpers and a new colour.

Agree with you on the Mark 6 fully though, really do hope I get the chance to own one in the future be it one of the first 2 releases or a possible die cast version.

Speaking of the Mark 6 and repaints, was there much of a fuss about an amended one back when the first Avengers came out?
