Does the face paint still match the body?

Back sooner than I thought, had to quickly resize these pics. I didn't mean to start up the SS QC hate train this early. The paint job I initially received was passable, but I could see its potential and knew that Raf would just destroy the factory paints. I asked him to redo the eyes, add more depth and character to the skin tones/face, and to remove that messy, glossy sheen that a lot of these pieces seems to have.

Yes, Raf assured me it would. I believe he painted one portrait then used the other to color match.

Hello everyone, first time poster long time lurker. I just wanted to share my Catwoman goggles up portrait that the amazing Rafael repainted. The lighting makes her lips seem a bit orange, but they are indeed red.

yea that's proto quality bro...thank you for sharing! Raf is getting a lot of good credit for this one...CW the way she was MEANT to be. You may not want to stir the SSC hate pot but it's clear when a nice paintjob like this shows up. I will pray I get a decent head and maybe get it repainted regardless.

Wow, from dead and lifeless eyes and paint to so much realism. The re-paint is incredible. I cancelled CW because of the horrible paint. Sideshow had one small space to paint on the face and they couldn't get it right. As for WW, she looks good.

Yeah, I mean I'm not blind, obviously some care and attention should be paid towards SS QC. The sculpt is fantastic, but given that the face is so important to this piece I had to see if it could be improved.

The paint isn't horrible...but its still pretty bad. Sculpt is nice, mixed media is nice. Paint is not up to par for $400 statue. But if they had just nailed the eyes, this would have been a homerun, no question. A tad bit more effort would have been nice...

So is it confirm that it's safe to unzip the zipper? It will go back up safely correct?

Btw, if you want the zipper lower, pinch it from the top (inside the suit and out) and gently push downward.

I found this out just playing with it. I was initially ready for surgery, tweezers, GooGone and Q-Tips at the ready, lol.

Yes it will go back up.

I'm not sure I call this a homerun. The eyes are a tad sub par...the rest of the piece is pretty damn nice however. Wonder Woman is pretty damn close to a home run...esp if you can get lucky and have no QC issues. Keaton Batman is a homerun despite some eye paint issues of its own.

Keaton piece is pretty amazing but I think the eye issues are just as bad as CW.
