Managed to get the zipper all the way down without the silver ring thingy breaking. :yess:

The HS paint isn't bad but I'll most likely have it repainted and possibly make a custom transparante goggles. Overall, I'm pretty pleased with it, just waiting on Ivy to ship. :impatient:

After looking at my closely with a bright light on it, I also have those little dots on her outfit. If you don't put a bright light on it you don't really notice it, also you have to look really close to see them... Either it's bad fabric OR it's jut part of the design of the statue. I'm sure if asked SS will say it's the way the material is suppose to be to avoid having to replace so many. I can just make out the little dots on Nyroame pictures also... So odds are it's suppose to be that way... just looks worse when you shine a really bright light and take really close up photos...

I got mine in today and I'm very happy with her.

Here's a shot of the zipper location as she arrived. :naughty The pics don't capture it great but damn are those nips pronounced through her suit!image.jpg

I'm really happy with the goggles up portrait tooimage.jpgimage.jpg

That's what I meant by "in the fabric". Some fabrics react to bright light weirdly and if you're shining a super bright light closeup on it then the "pockmarks" may show up more than when it's normal lighting and a normal distance.

I don't know, man. I took those in a fairly dimly lit room. I'm looking at it now from across the room and it's pretty noticeable (and not just coz I know it's there).

I can appreciate it might be an intended effect, but if that's the case, it's overdone on mine and the suit just looks worn out rather than textured.

Mine will likely be going back if they can't replace it. Which would be a shame as it's pretty cool otherwise.

Yours is the second I've seen were the eyes look in the correct spot. Congrats!

Thanks! I was prepared for Ms Googly eyes, but oh so relieved when I unwrapped the head

Thanks bud.

Mine has the spots as well, but very sparse and only evident under close up bright lights

UPS finally updated. She was in Oklahoma City yesterday, now (39 hours later) the damn thing is in Tulsa. Apparently Catwoman is taking a tour of Oklahoma instead of being delivered on time.

I like the pose better in hand. This was almost perfect if not for the eyes and one other issue with mine, of course.

Really digging the goggles down head in person more than I did from photos. The teeth showing also looks fine.

The eyes are definitely off...my test is this: put a thumb over one eye and notice the direction. Put the same thumb over the other eye. If it's not looking in the same direction, you have googly eyes. That applies here, but how bad it is depends on the angle and lightning could hide it.

It's true...look up, and you can see they definitely sculpted under her shirt :wink1:

But being me, there had to be some other issue, not sure what they allowed to happen with the boot here. It's so small and minor I know nothing would be done about this. For my Allied Cap stripes they didn't even offer a credit, they just said return it if you don't like it and to me that's a far more major deal, so I know this is a "deal with it" situation being so minor. I'm used to getting SS's problems so this doesn't even surprise me, I'm almost surprised there wasn't anything worse than googly eyes and these small punctures or whatever they are. This is the type of thing I experienced with Superman, everything was great except for a small chip of this size on the base...

I swear, it's always gotta be something with SS. Give me minor paint slop and a slightly off eye, fine, but the chips and breaks have got to stop. I probably won't have a perfect SS PF until Jean Grey :lol
