Ok then it's three total. Sorry for the confusion guys. I unboxed it a while back and had photos to rely on so that's what threw me off. So basically one of the Dio boxes had two layers as well. Apologies .

I got my 3 boxes today, took a peak at the smaller one. Dam that snake is big, and the slave girl looks good also. This is definitely going to be a grail piece in the future. I will assemble this on Thursday night and post some pictures of Conan when done.

you know i was wondering this myself…i have the snake/girl setup now, waiting on conan..When i look at the pegs, and look at the snake, I have no clue how conan will line up to be head on with the snake..but il wait and see..Friday is my day according to tracking

So I got my Conan and some parts of the snake dio and slave girl. These are the few problems I had with mine. I didnt take photos of them but the ex sword and the sheathed sword that goes on the hip were completely bent, but easily fixable. So I just heated them up and straightened them back up.

I received the bases with a couple chips in them. The magnet on the hip for the dagger, (I think it might be the dagger) is weak. One of Conan's boots, I dont know what it is? But Im thinking condensation got onto the boot, dried up and left faded marks on it. The tail end of the snake had styrofoam rubs on it and had rubbed off a bit of the paint. And the biggest thing is that the pegs on conan and the post behind him only go in half way. I'm in talks with Averone right now working to get a replacement on these. But I have to say overall, that this piece is a keeper. Very VERY impressive piece. You can feel the presence that this statue possesses. The paint and shading is excellent. Ill do proper photos of the whole dio when I get those replacements though. I love the ex head and ex sword and will keep those as the default display option. I got the other package today but will be opening tomorrow.

On another note, when I received the two packages, fedex decided to just drop them off in my driveway without any notification. No doorbell ring, nothing. I was completely pissed about that, called and complained about it. Theyre saying that ARH didnt fill out the proper paperwork and declared value, so when that happens, theyre instructed to leave it in the driveway. Who does that? Why would a company such as fed ex leave packages out in the open for prying eyes to contemplate stealing? Not smart.

Sorry to hear that you have issues. I completely agree with your feelings about the presence of this dio. When I saw it in person last year at NYCC it had an impact on me as well and I ordered it on the spot. For you to say it is still impressive with the defects you have on yours says something.

My complete set is on the truck for delivery today and I am not moving from the house until it arrives. Fedex has been leaving packages in my driveway for years if I'm not home to receive it. It's a crappy policy regardless if the shipper doesn't fill out paperwork. IMO packages should never be left outside.

I now have a problem with UPS. They have a new protocol where they leave the package at a local accesspoint if you are not at home. Hahaha...one was a deli? The problem I have encountered is that the drivers are saying they attempted delivery when they haven't and I am unaware that the package is at this access point because there is no attempt notice left at the house. I have to monitor every delivery constantly now.

Hopefully Conan arrives with no issues and I will post some pics later today.

I love it...Great paintjob for a factory, Massive size with both bases used, In fact I think it looks better using both bases keeping Conan at a distance. iMHO more realistic instead of Conan being nose to nose with the Snake. He woulda gotten bit Big time. As for the negative The dagger magnet while strong doesnt quite fit in the hole but still looks good, both swords were bent but after 5 minutes of the hair dryer set on high they are straight No issues in regards to all other parts fitting on , fit like a glove, Love the accessories and glad to have options for display...beautiful piece... Whatever tiny chips on the base can be touched up in a minute or two...easy work...even a Cave man like Wolf Brother can do it ...Great Job by ARH
