Damn I didn't know Emily Blunt was in the running. She would have been soo much better as BW(IMO). Still need to pick up this figure, it grew on me and Im going for the whole movie cast of TWS.

Completely agreed about Emily Blunt. I haven't picked up this figure yet (despite some wonderful pictures in this thread), mainly in the hopes/expectation that it'll go on sale on Sideshow like so many other Hot Toys figures have recently. I don't expect it to sell out soon, so I've got nothing but patience for a better deal.

Yep I always thought she would have been a fantastic Natasha as well. I didn't feel Scar Jo as Natasha much at all in all these movies though I thought she was written the best in Avengers. Plus I do think that Emily Blunt is a much better actress. The only thing where I REALLY REALLY a liked Scar Jo was in Her.

But I'm mainly getting his figure for the costume and will switch out the head sculpt soon.

(so... that makes 5 of us) Scarlett's gotten better in the role with subsequent movies, but I still feel like she's not right for the part (personal preference). And I also thought she was fantastic in Her; ironically enough, the one movie where we don't see her at all.

Anyways, back on topic, which head will you be swapping onto this body?

I hope to god the seller actually sends me a new one. Communication is hard since they are based in China and don't reply as often as I'd like them to.

I've had the idea about repainting the spare "lit up" Widow's Bite bracelets to either gold or silver for months now which I already thin would look better than the pure black it already has.

I could also get another suit and maybe paint that as well.

I just wonder if I should go with some sort of metallic paint or not.

It's all about the bangs for me. And I hope that we could see a Black Widow on screen someday with this hairstyle.

I know gold's the classic look (it's what I was introduced to), but I rather like the silver bracelet version. It fits in more with the covert spy look.

The only thing with the WS outfit is that it has the two different fabric and leather textures, which isn't technically comic accurate (though more practical). Another option could be to repaint something like the Avengers outfit all black, but I suspect that won't hold up well over time.

And were you thinking of metallic paint on the outfit as well? I could see it being good for creating reflectivity, but it might look a little off.

I love the long hair look with the bangs, but long hair seems like a disaster waiting to happen with all the stuntwork. Then again, Catwoman and Gamora had fairly long hair, so anything is possible. I don't have the head sculpt in hand, but I wonder if there's enough hair on the current head (even with the bizarre layering) to cut/trim the hair to create some decent-looking bangs.

Yes, she is uber hot indeed! She is also a great actress to start off with. I'm happy she got the role. Can't wait for AOU!

I'm buying the AOU widow for sure, and if it has a set with the bike...put me down for that as well!

I would also be VERY in for a set with a bike. I think HT should start making more 1/6 accessories and vehicles.

mine just arrived, it's my first hot toys and want to know if it is safe remove the suit, will be safe?

I would not remove the suit if you plan on using it in the future. The belt would need to be glued back together and the zipper has a 50/50 chance of breaking. If you are experienced with repairing suits and sewing then by all means but if you are afraid of breaking something I would advise against it.

If you want to dress her with different outfits, the better thing to do is buying another head sculpt and another body...

Here's my 'Widow Collection'. The 3 on the left are originals, the 3 on the right are customized.

The one which sits in the middle is kitbashed with the original MMS 239 head sculpt, the the original MMS 239 body, hands from the Hot Toys True Type Cuban American Female body and feet (and 'ankles') from the VeryCool FX02-B body.
When I want to take pictures with civilian outfit, I use this one

Haha that'd be cool to have both versions actually but I think I'm gonna go with a silver version first. I'm so paranoid about the figure arriving this time around that I'm constantly checking the tracking info just to see if it updates...this is gonna be a long and honestly kind of stressful wait due to how much these figures are. I sincerely hope it arrives since it might take 3 weeks or more.

I'd have to say that one of the more painful parts of this whole ordeal was that I paid 30 bucks over retail to get this early from Hong Kong. That wasn't the case. I did pre order Star-Lord and the die cast Mark III from animators and hopefully they too don't let me down when it comes to ordering straight from Chinese stores.
