Re: 1000toys - TOA Heavy Industries Synthetic Human

lol its true i actually dont know anyone from 1000toys but know someone that does that has shared some behind the scenes stuff, he curated a 1/6 show and 1000toys were involved, since then he has stayed in contact with them and has been cool enough to share info with those interested in the behind the scenes going on. took our questions and comments to them and the like, it was back and forth. never said i knew them direct. lier? how am i lying now? you said you would buy the bootleggs no? i assume thats in support of bootleggers.

"asskisser" "lier" u mad bro? ;) if you want to continue send me a PM, would have liked to end it with agree to disagree.

Since you know them so well, tell em ive been browsing the web every day trying to find the KOs because they wont release more, and they were jackasses to me on facebook.

Re: 1000toys - TOA Heavy Industries Synthetic Human

after Lawrence mentioned all back ver its all i can think of now, be so sick with that arm cannon. matte and gloss parts... :yess: all white under skull under a black faceplate would be sick also.
That sounds pretty cool. I want. Now I'm imagining all kinds of colourways for these. Oh man, I'm hyped for something that only exists in my head :lol

Black synthetic human. Non exclusive. Non lottery. Made to order. $120. Make it happen 1000toys. Please.

Re: 1000toys - TOA Heavy Industries Synthetic Human

Re: 1000toys - TOA Heavy Industries Synthetic Human

not sure now if he will be next after seeing that teaser of synth with gun arm but this was Indra on display at sdcc. im hoping he is tho, looks really cool and would like to get on PO sooner than later.
(notice the ankles, synthetic human base body)

after sdcc the friend i mentioned met with the 1000toys guys for dinner, talked there future plans and all that. before he went we submitted some questions for him to ask, one was if Indra will be on a synthetic human base body cuz by then alot wanted one. as you can see by the pic he shared below sans faceplate, it is.

there was also antoher ver of indra at the 1/6 show he curated that was more geared up, not in casual wear like this one. pics are early in thread. what ver do you all prefer? i like the geared up one cuz it has a more nihei look but the suit would possibly hinder artic. does have a cool collapsing helmet tho. not sure wht ver i would get if both were offered at once. you?

here is the geared up ver-

max order limit on first synth release was 2. so if that holds will get 2 of the next drop so i can strip one down and have another bare bones synth.

they also had this with them at sdcc, not sure i would need a 1:1 synth mask but is cool!

awesome pics per usual Alice! dig that last one lots... wow :clap

Re: 1000toys - TOA Heavy Industries Synthetic Human

The top pic reminds me a bit of 3A figures. This looks like something I might pass on, if it didn't have a synthetic human body underneath. I simply don't know the character well enough I guess. At least the synthetic humans are kinda generic looking.

Which do I prefer? Hmmm. I think the geared up one.
The mask might look nice displayed next to the synthetic bodies.

^^agreed.

looks like we will be getting a dark synthetic human! stoked! was under the pic shared(the one we have seen with gun arm) :yess:

"The first look at the Dark Synthetic Human.

Made lightweight and with
improved armaments based on the data acquired from the Test Body."

very cool they are continuing the story-line in a way after the test rig. i have no doubt this will be 100x better than the first and test rig vers. sold!

Re: 1000toys - TOA Heavy Industries Synthetic Human

I don't see it on Facebook. Where did you read that? :panic:

Re: 1000toys - TOA Heavy Industries Synthetic Human

:rotfl moving on here.... you? i have a diff view/opinion on all this to you. need we spell that out anymore? jeeeebus sorry for disagreeing with you and asking some questions in attempt to understand where your comin from? i get what your saying and i dont agree. i think you should just wait and get the next fg they do rather than buying bootlegs. limited runs from a new small company is the norm. IMO

looking forward to the q+a they did recently goin up, would like to know when indra will be up for PO, how soon etc

most small companies do only limited runs because they have no idea whether their products will sell or not, the fact that most small company products are so unique they rarely generate the amount of interest like the Synthetic has, also the fact that it's much easier to reproduce the synthetic that doesn't come with any clothing & accessories mean all they need to do is get the factory to produce more. If you say money is a problem it is indeed for 1000 toys, that is why they've been collecting full payment for preorders.

Look at the legs, it's most likely the same synthetic body underneath, no point developing another base body just to save cost as it will just drive the cost up seeing how limited they are producing.

The 1:1 Mask looks great though, i doubt they will sell them anyway.

I'm guessing this new figure will cost $200 minimum.

Re: 1000toys - TOA Heavy Industries Synthetic Human

:yess: awesome! looks like it was inspired by Public Health Dept agent from biomega, with the ugly face and apron. very cool def sold. no doubt, seen enough. perfect to fight against our synthetics and eventually Indra.

The mask should have the mouth part open to reveal the skull's teeth instead of sculpting the teeth on the mask.

Re: 1000toys - TOA Heavy Industries Synthetic Human

When I look at the pic of the manga, I feel like the Medicom bodies would suit it better. They have a more anime/manga feel to them. But of course, we don't care about that, we simply want our synthetic human type bodies :lol

Synthetic body looks anime enough, i mean the proportion is about the same as RAH 330, even the height around the same. Plus all the articulation.

Re: 1000toys - TOA Heavy Industries Synthetic Human

Medicom bodies lacks the wider hips of normal bodies used by HT, EB, & even the synthetic human, which give's the Medicom bodies that lanky look (even when dressed), which, I think, suits the PHD agent shown in the manga.

Also, the synthetic bodies have nice articulation, but it can't do this, which the Medicom bodies can.

You realize the Synthetic body was wearing a diaper like armor around the hip which can be removed to make them as flat as a Medicom right?

But yea Synthetic can't do that kick, but i know older G.I Joe bodies probably can.

Wrong. Removing the "diaper" doesn't do that. The ball joints that connect the legs to the torso would still be wide. So the synthetic body still keeps a kind of hourglass shape, even removing the "diaper".
