Was waiting for this weekend so my rewards would accumulate to over $40... just noticed the double rewards, 10% discount and free shipping on IP... couldn't resist.

Oh my god that sale...with gift card :drool I want him so bad, I personally think his paint is beautiful. But I already bought Wolverine and Ada Wong...and I know I was going to pick up Iron Patriot at some point. :gah: what do!?

they removed the gift card eligibility, I was ready to pull the trigger till I noticed it was gone.

I'm so glad I waited before getting this figure! I just got one previously owned but good as new Iron Patriot for $200! Can't wait to have it on my shelf :)

Even if you aren't into ironman, its a great figure. The paint job is great enough to blend with pretty much any environment

Been eyeing this for awhile. With the current discount it's down to $223 w/ free shipping. Worth it?

Yes. I'd say it's worth as much as $250-280, considering the latest bare-bones reveals HT's shown lately. The paint job and articulation are top-notch, and the Cheadle head is creepy life-like. The going price for this figure here in our local market is also around $220. I got mine for $200 in sealed shipper's box and I'm very happy :)

Sounds like it's cheaper to get stuff in the Philippines. Need to make some orders next time my in-laws go there. :wink1:

Sounds great, man :) Though some of the long sold-out figures tend to be more expensive here compared to the US, some of the new releases tend to drop a lot in price here lately.

Jeez. I gotta stop pre-ordering everything. It's just not a good financial decision anymore.

More and more collectors here in the Philippines are making less pre-orders, due to the aftermarket prices on some figures becoming way lower than SRP (1989 Batmobile goes for only $420 here, vs the PO price of $630). It's not doing our local shops a favor though, that in the long run we might end up having less supply, which might either result to high aftermarket prices in our region.

It sucks living outside the US. $223 with free shipping is a great deal but once you add in shipping and taxes it takes it up to around $300 and with so much other stuff on order i'll just have to pass. Hope they do the same deal with the MK 42, i would be all over that.

If Sideshow ever discounted the 42, I'd be intrigued, wonky shoulder joints and all.
