Nope. I see no difference other than Vader looking stiff.

What a waste of a post, are you trying to accumulate a high post count by typing the absolute minimum amount of text into a reply or are you trolling for an argument? I've already mentioned it in another thread, but you're in the wrong room, move along.

He pops in once a week to troll and keeps getting away with it.

How am I trolling. I broke no rules and state my opinion. Nothing wrong with it, move along.

You didn't state any opinion, you just came in and fired off a blanket and uncalled for insult to everyone participating in this thread. A sincere apology to everyone in the thread and immediate removal of the two previous messages would be a good next move.

You should also take a moment, since you're new, to read up on general forum etiquette - I said "general" it doesn't have to be specific to this thread and it most definitely doesn't have to be about specific rules.

No thank you. My opinion is that this modification makes Vader look very stiff, reminds me of an old 1990s Kenner Vader, except with cloth attire. I am not insulting people and if you can not handle an opinion on a forum meant for just that, stating opinions and having conversations, then you should move along.

This thread is about general modifications to the figure. If you see only a single mod and only a single picture, then you're missing a lot of content. No one knows what you're talking about because you didn't reply to a specific post. If you don't know the difference between stating an opinion as part of a discussion versus firing off a one-sided insult, then you need to do more than read about forum etiquette.

I've already reported your recent troll behavior to the moderators.

Funny, I too have reported you for harassing me in every thread and trolling me.

Here are some pics of the current state of my Vader (with a Stormtrooper as comparison). So far all I did was lower the dome (dremeled the hell out of the top of the head) and padded the arms. The rest is just posing and futzing.

He currently stands at pretty much exactly 35 cm (13 3/4 inch). If Vader is supposed to be about 202 cm tall, he should be 33.66 cm in 1/6. So my goal is reduce him by a bit more than a cm. His shoulders also need to be more narrow, and I believe his forearms should be a bit shorter.
I am struggling a bit with where I should actually take the height away from, as I like his proportions aside from the shoulders and arms. I think best would be to reduce both the torso and legs by half a cm each. Any suggestions or other ideas?

I love the futzing and the poses, great work. He definitely looks a lot leaner, meaner and warrior-like in your photos than he did in the movies.

Dare I say it...the Marmit looks better than the HTs stormie!

Runs really fast and hide behind the nearest bantha...

No need to run, at least from me. :)

The Marmits (modded) are pretty close to as good as it needs to get IMO. They just aren't that sharp, and there is much that can be done there on the road to a perfect stormie.

They both look like they want to start a fight in a bad way, I love it.

I hate the Vader suit more and more each day. It just feels impossible to get it to look like a normal piece of clothing that hangs on a human body, but you've almost made it there, well done. :hi5:

I haven't been totally convinced with the body swaps when I have tried it, so I am starting to think about chopping up the original body as well but I was waiting on Pixelpipers tell-all-picture-tutorial on how his torso mod works out for him first. :tap :wink1:

Thanks a lot, guys. That Stormtrooper was a labor of love. I might pick up one of the new HT ones as well, but with mine I definitely don't feel like I need to upgrade or anything, it would just be another trooper for the display.

I haven't tried any body swaps myself yet, but I haven't been 100% convinced by any yet, either. I also don't want to shell out the money for an Arnie TT and then realize I don't like it. I think the SS body is salvageable with some mods, but I don't want to cut it up just yet. I will do some photo editing with my pictures to see what he would look like with shorter arms, legs, and torso. I kinda fear he would look too stumpy though with just those mods, maybe even fat.
