FedEx mails you the bill for the import fee later, I didn't get mine until about two weeks after they dropped off my statue... They only bill you if you live in a state that requires a import fee... Unfortunately for me California does..

I find this so bizarre... it's a fedex thing only I believe. I've had VERY expensive items shipped from japan and china via other means and never was charged a cent in fees.

I used to buy a lot from Asia before but never pay import fee's but that was because the sellers would mark that item at a low price to avoid import fee's. Buying something of this size I don't think that will work though

What's the consensus...Will Wolverine sell as quickly as Magneto? I don't think it'll be Magneto crazy but it'll be gone quick.

Magneto is a great piece and Sideshow don´t do him, add he is not famous to all. But Wolverine is again a great piece and all loves him. Maybe it will go crazy, i think.

I think Magneto was a super hot item because many had been begging SS for one but they never delivered. Plus the statue has a huge Wow Factor bringing in buyers who aren't big Magneto fans but want that epic statue. This is the Magneto statue to own. I don't see it being topped.

I think we can easily make the same argument for Wolverine on most of your points (I.e. except SS delivering).

The majority are wanting a brown suit Wolverine and may hold off for it. I'm surprised SS hasn't done more Wolverine statues given his popularity. The XM Wolverine is the best one available IMO. It may very well be gone in a few days like Magneto.

Lol...no poll. I just keep reading about folks clamoring for a brown suit version. I like the black and yellow better personally.

Most the pre preorder stock is gone guys. I think once Wolverine goes up on retailer sites, expect this to be soldout day 1.

I originally posted my reasoning and source but I don't want to start a panic so I'm gonna stop commenting...but if you want this, contact one of the board distributors ASAP...all I'm gonna say!
