Same here, I'm really hyped for that movie :panic:

and the figures :monkey3

Most likely he'll have 2 main forms: the one from the EW poster reveal (like his classic version), and a final form as seen in the leaked images from way back sans SFX and glowing mouth + teeth (like his modern versions from the Conquest and AU comics). While there's also potentially a third one that's more like a prototype/Mark 1 that's fairly incomplete and more akin to that of an IM suit.

I don't see myself getting the "Mark 1" unless it really stands out in the film. Will most likely get the EW poster version and put it alongside 2 drones while the final form gets a space on its own on the shelf.

Thanks, yeah I think I'll get them all :lol the second form seems to be the definitive version

Personally hyped for both the 2nd form and the final form myself. :hi5:

With the 2nd form, you can never go wrong with a more classic look and the jack o' lantern face, whereas my love for the final form stems from its resemblance to his recent comic appearances which have been a blast in terms of how it re-invents Ultron's design while maintaining that pulp retro sci-fi look to the character.

Seriously, adding that little human touch to the final form's appearance reminds me of stuff like "Metropolis" and his human form in the "Annihilation: Conquest" comics, and it's so in line with Ultron's personality that it makes me one happy Ultron fan. :yess:

Yep they've got the looks down of Ultron, and Spader's voice is so perfect so far, even though I've not seen the footage everytime I hear it the voice screams Ultron to me.

Boy, this is going to be an expensive movie if one isn't careful. Luckily I've yet to invest a cent in the Avengers, so I won't feel obligated to grab everything by a long shot, but the possibility of getting Ultron, some drones, Vision, Hulkbuster and the Hulk is in itself pretty daunting.

Might just have to limit it to Ultron and drones, then display them with the inevitable Thanos, for a villains shelf. Not sure how satisfied I'd be with just 'some' representation of the Avengers. Might feel incomplete. Lots of time to ponder, anyway.

I think I will just be going for the Ultron (only one)....
He is one of my favorite villains!!

Question:
Do you guys think either he or the Mark 43 will be diecast???

Very good chance Mark 43 will be diecast since HT already has that mold ready to go. I doubt they would bother investing in a plastic mold (I don't think you can just switch materials to make a plastic version)

Hahaha...oh my, I said 3 Iron Man was it (Diecast Mark 3, Warchine Mark 2, and Starboost)
But I would strongly be tempted by a diecast Mark 43... I liked the Mark 42 suit but wasn't into the color scheme.

I said something like that, for me it was Silver Centurion and if I could find one a Mark VII... Mark VII is out of the window (decided no going back to older armours unless they were for a good price) and picked up Silver Centurion, then came Python and shortly after the Diecast Mark 3, a Diecast Mark 43 is a sure thing and its bound to go on!

Hopefully we'll get a die-cast Ultron, it'll be the only possible figure I could own having made with it (IM just isn't my thing).
Any pic or news on the WM suit? We know that Don is in the film but will we see him suit up and joining the fight?

I'd kinda like a diecast Ultron but would want more diecast than the standard diecast figures have currently.

I read somewhere Ultron was 8 feet tall, so he may end up being a 16 Inch figure. If he is they may not do him in diecast but who knows

Well the thing about Ultron is, from the footage it sort of looks like he builds himself. So it's possible you could even get more than one version of him.

I still contend that they should make 3-4 different PPS Ultron drones in different poses, at a lower price point. ;)
