I have a temptation for this set, particularly for Gordon. I really try to avoid "Man in suit" figures though.

I used to feel that way too because I had Harvey Dent alone amongst all these costumed heroes and villains. I ended up selling it. I didn't order the armory at first because of this. Then I saw Gordon and Blake and decided it's not going to look weird anymore if I have all 4 non-costumed guys in my collection.

I have checked out the thread.
My own personal opinion is that it looks nothing like Hiddleston.
But that's not an attack on you. Just an observation.
this headsculpt actually looks like the actor it was modelled on.

I'm really wondering why Hot Toys made this.

On the other hand, I have to give credit to the sculpt--its an amazing likeness. One of he best HT has ever done.

Could it be that Joseph Gordon Levitt is really popular in Asia? Maybe he was in some other movie besides Batman that was super popular over there? Because as part of the Batman franchise he's an insignificant character, certainly compared to Lucius, or Ras al Ghul.

We are all different.
I find Blake a more interesting character.
But i am not trying to say Joker isn't interesting. If i got one for my birthday(In a couple of weeks time, hint, hint), i'd be over the moon.
But i probably wouldn't buy it myself, whereas Blake would be a first day preorder for me.

I sold off me entire batman collection but this will be a definite purchase.

Love the character and it just looks too damned good.

I don't see the appeal in Blake. Sure the sculpts impressive as well as the outfit but he's just a "bloke". He's doesn't kick-ass in the same way as Batman, I just don't see anything super in him. Commissioner Gordon however is also a guy in a suit but he has an awesome moustache and everyone knows moustaches are cool.

He has within him the same drive as Bruce did in the first movie, and the last scene of the film indicates he may have an even more illustrious future ahead of him.
I want the Officer Blake figure, but can also envisage a custom Blake Batman figure too.

Robin Blake is a great character in the Batman mythos! He singlehandedly deduced that Bruce Wayne was Batman because he felt it in his bones in stuff (and because the plot called for it). He connects to Bruce telepathically and has an orphan Annie complex. He doesn't use guns! He'll be the next Batman!!!

That's worthy of a figure or two. Fingers crossed for a DX Detective Blake with PERS and alternate vest and shotgun look.

I like JGL. Hopefully I can find a parted out sculpt because I already have a custom with detective clothes. I cant imagine anyone buying the whole set for just Blake. Are any of you guys doing that?
