Superman is a god amongst men, and he has to exercise extreme caution because, to him, everything in this world is made out of wet paper and to use too much strength will be lethal.
And that's the way it would be if he hit Tony too hard in the IM suit. It would be like punching a can of coke and crushing it.
Maybe Iron Man might have a chance against Mighty Mouse. But only a chance...
 
....unless Tony made a suit out of Kyrptonite or incorporated it somehow :lol then Superman is maybe done.

Lies.

Superman has been killed already, and Batman beat his brains in plenty. Stark will outwit Supes and negate his strength. Kryptonite repulsor blasts would be a good start.

Then Supes stays out of range and cooks him with his heat vision moving at the speed of light.

Iron man> Batman> Superman = Iron man> Superman

from what I read (and I could need an update), Batman has only at best stalled Superman twice. Once in Hush and the other in Dark Knight.

And even with Kryptonite, if Superman was smart about it he could just hit Stark with a long range laser beam

Superman was beaten to death by Doomsday, and stalled/outwitted twice by Batman like you said.

If Stark wasn't ripped in half by Hulk, he may fair well against Superman's strength in a modified HB suit.
