There's a part of me that wonders if Snyder didn't do what he did in MoS on purpose, as a Batman fan. Maybe he wanted all of the purists to get pissed so they'd identify with Batman in the sequel and enjoy watching their golden boy get trounced.

I'm taking the piss, people calling all sorts of 'Batman ripped off Iron Man' or 'Stark is Marvel's Bruce Wayne' are the ones who need to pick up comic books. Bruce sure as hell doesn't drink near as much as Stark generally does....

Bruce doesn't drink alcohol at all.

Other than that, it is clear that Iron Man is Marvel's Batman.

It's not a secret that Marvel borrowed a lot from DC with many characters and events.

I don't know, in MoS he portrays Superman as a very Jesus-esque figure, I think he's going with the martyr approach, which would also imply to get Superman a beating physically or morally and I'm ok with that.

I hate my job, I have been reading where people saw the clip 50 times, but when I get off work and try to catch up, IT"S TAKEN DOWN BY WB!!!! I will never see it and 2016 seems so far away...

I dunno how I feel about them using the returns fight in this, would prefer to see it in it's own adaptation with the proper build up. Another layer to the cluster****.

Part of me thinks the whole Superman V Batman fight will be early on in the film so they can overcome their (pointless) differences, team up with all the B-grade comic book characters stuffed into the script, then battle against JESSIE EISENBERG! HA! All whilst Jeremy Irons serves people drinks.

Good god. When you think about it, it sounds awful.

and somewhere in between Wonder Woman has to fit. I don't know if people were excited when they say superman at the bat signal or the fact that batman and superman are going to fight just building up the fight, I think kryptonians are the ones that can bring out the heat to superman, hence why Faora vs Supes was the best scene in Man of Steel.

I do kind of wonder what Iron Man's 75th anniversary will be like. I bet the second Downey retires, Iron Man drops back to the D-list.

Fanboys need to understand that ironman doesn't have the lasting appeal of the big three(spidey, superman and batman). Downey brought new life to the character. No one gave a shot until the first movie lmao.

Thank god they have an Oscar winning writer so I expect a little more juice than that

I do agree on the early fight, just like most of the "meeting" stories between both of them, they meet, they don't like each other, they fight or "kinda" fight, and then they end up being best buds with occasional fights later on.

Think Watchmen and everything makes sense, or rather it doesn't need to.

I really wouldn't get into overthinking the bigger picture, I doubt anyone else has.

The cheering and clapping on these clips drives me nuts.
I've been to a few of these cons, and the nerds will vomit in their own mouths in excitement when a studio logo flashes up on screen.

I dunno. I think it's cool to see people genuinely excited. But I have to say that if we have an ending where Batman (with prep time) or Lex trolls everyone to the extent that Ozymandias did at the end of Watchmen, I will be pleased. Especially if it somehow leads to the introduction of Darkseid in the JLA movie.

Eh, it's a serviceable outfit, kinda thorish with the leather/rubber amalgam, I wasn't blown away by it, But I don't dislike it.

She looks great in it though, she definitely looks the part.

Did anyone had access to the script?
Im asking because it seems that save from the casting infos we know **** from the actual story itself.
And yet its gonna be too crowded, a bunch of cameos, its stupid blah blah blah...

I hope Supes and bats destroy fight Gotham.
Because it Will look awesome on screen and because its a ****ing comic book movie.
Yeah its a realistic visual approach but the rest is unrealistic as the comics, animation, videogames.
And in those they fight and destroy cities.
However i doubt it Will go as far as with Zod this Time since Bat is not as powerful.
As for the fight reason, im thinking Wayne being friend with Lex who Will persuade him that Supes is a threat that needs to be handled.
Batman all angry screaming to a misunderstood Supes "YOU DESTROYED A WHOLE CITY YOU PSYCHO ALIEN!!!!"
Supes "Who are you????"
Batman " IM THE GODDAMN BATMAN!!!"

Are people serious about the Miller Bat armor and Iron man?
