Surprised at how much I remember from these films. Not like I watch them every month or even every year. I guess they're just that good you don't need to have recently watched them to recall this stuff. Nevertheless I feel a rewatch is warranted after these reveals. It shall be done this coming week.
Serious man. Got the DVD set at home but I'll probably download a Blu Ray Rip and watch it with the wife when she gets home next week

Sent from the Cockpit of the Millenium Falcon

At the pub tonight there was a harmony singing group playing 50s-esque music, most of it probably in fact from the 50s. They played Mr.Sandman, instantly thought of Back to the Future.

The bluray version of the trilogy has sublime audio and video quality. I was surprised at how vibrant and detailed the movies were over the DVD versions.

I'm watching the bluray now... seems like the bass isn't very loud. Looks great though.

Damn this movie is timeless.

The only thing in it that sticks out are the bad appliances and makeup for the "older versions" of the characters. I wonder if Hot Toys will sculpt those into doc.

Also, Biff is a great actor. He did so many things well haha.

Since everyone is in a BTFF mood do check out Back to the Future: The Game as well, it's really, really good.

They're making Doc!

Doesn't sound like a foregone conclusion to me. They're working on him, but HT have worked on lots of figures that never ultimately saw the light of day.

Yeah, true. Entire prototypes made, shown, and never released.

Or Halloween 2? :D

Hmmm, y'know I don't think I've ever seen that. Not really a horror man outside of Alien and T1

True, but this is a very popular and iconic character from one of the most popular franchises ever. We're not talking Prometheus or X-Men: First Class here.

We never got Zod from Superman: the Movie. We haven't had any hint of Cesar Romero Joker. We never got an updated Kyle Reese from Terminator. I hope it happens, but with Hot Toys it's best not to set your expectations very high.

Did they say they were doing all of those figures?

No, but they said they were doing figures that they didn't, as I said before. This was in reference to your suggestion that important characters wouldn't be ignored by Hot Toys. By all means, hope for it if you want to. But Howard saying they are working on something doesn't mean much to me, having followed him for several years now.
