It looks great but I'm assuming it's nowhere near a final representation of the final product. The plastic they used for the windshield looks like a cheap placeholder.

Almost looks like a Powerloader and Ripley from the first Alien film on the table at the top right of that pic. Although the 'powerloader' wouldn't seem bulky enough.

I personally hated this film . Absolutely zero interest in this . Thank god !

:wink1:

I think this line is going to be massively successful for them! Maybe it will open the door to other 80s icons..... Ghostbusters!

Oh man, what a glorious day that would be!!!

OMG, this looks amazing!!!!! i was waiting the 1:18 hotwheels elite, but maybe I'll pass that and get this :p
I have no space with the 1/6 tumbler and 89 batmobile, but meh...

And it's in front of about 10,000 HT Iron Men. It's some kind of obscure Iron Man robot thing probably. Like, it picked up his helmet off the floor for him one time or something.

Predictably I want these very much having seen them. I just dread the prices bigtime. Also, I would worry about being tempted to pick up any subsequent incarnations of Marty/Doc/Delorean they could make. Granted, although I like the film, anything from III would be a relatively easy pass.

Now I'm really considering just selling off all post-80s 1/6 movie figures (except T2 and T-1000) and just sticking with films from my childhood.

We have Bespin Luke, T1 Arnold, Predator, Marty McFly, Robocop, '89 Batman, etc. Pretty much all the grails everyone wanted have been done. All that's missing is that underdog NY cop who spent the holidays in LA.

I got to assume the cost of the delorean will be close to some of the other 1/6 vehicles HT has done. And with them also seemingly increasing their prices on a lot of stuff, I will say it will be somewhere in the $500s.

That is a notion isn't it. I'd add Riggs and Murtaugh to that list but lets face it they'll never happen.

I was thinking along those lines too, Just hold onto the iconic figs.

I've also been thinking of selling lots of my non-80s stuff, like Pulp Fiction, Gangs of New York, Nolan Batman, etc. Might just have to do it. . .
