Didn't think of Tyler Mane. :lol Myers part 5 was tall?? I have to watch that movie again.

Unless you are talking about RZ Myers or Myers from Part 5. :lol

This is true Ron but I think by looks of it he is going for a Part III Jason and I assume it is a H1 Myers so Jason was bigger then and Freddy was always a short arse. :lol

Speaking of H5 Don Shanks wasn't that big in height was he? I know Tyler Mane is a big boy and only Jason from FVJ would run him close but having said that I think he would still be (Mane) a good four inches taller than the VS Jason.

I'll try stuffing the shoes but that's the limitations of mannequins. I bought one with movable arms for the axe

Someone locally gave me a really rusty axe for free. In the process of restoring it (somewhat)

Is it possible that maybe you could add some kind of extensions to the Mannequin's legs or ankles? Just wondering. Good luck! After seeing what you did with Myers full figure, which was totally amazing! I know you can pull this one off with Jason! :)

I know for sure that the guy who played Jason in 1981 as a full grown man was 6'1 and the tallest one was Derek Mears from remake at 6'5. The actors played Jason in between from the 1981 part 2 to the remake were tall in between 6'1 and 6'5.

Not sure about Myers and the actors that played him whose height was of an average man and that was mostly common at 5'10 to 6'0. Except for Warlock who was shortest and he had to wear the lifts in his boots. I did not know Don Shanks of H5 was tall. I guess I did not notice that? Tyler Mane was the tallest of them. Sid, you are right I was also thinking of H1 78 Myers full figure that DarkMario616 built so obviously Jason part 3 was taller than him.

Sadly not. The leg/hips is one piece, then the torso attached to the head, and then arms, and hands. If I had to do actual modifying, I'd have to cut the legs near the knees or something, then add a piece in between, and bondo back on. But the problem is this fiberglass is hollow...so...hmmm

I'm going to wait to get the masks from DSS/Zsas before I see how short he looks. In the end I'll worry about his height. Worst case scenario...I find a bigger mannequin and save this one for Freddy. Doesn't sound like a terrible idea I guess.

Thanks for the praise tho, I think Jason will come out pretty well, at least I hope. I'm hoping I can finish the axe in the meantime.

Extremely small update with my life-size Jason: The axe was restored and is just about finished. I'm not sure if the blood app is the way I want it, looks some-what decent. The only thing left is to touch up the parts where the stain didn't penetrate the wood. Otherwise, I'm hoping the mannequin can hold this lol. It's a bit heavy.

Can't wait to get started on this project. I guess this is the feeling you guys get when working on 1/6th figures :p

I went with olive green and silver work pants from Dickies. I think the pants fit fine, along with the shoes. I'm worried about the shirt. Seems a bit too dark, but in photos it looks right. I also have to stuff this mannequin...he's really skinny and the shirt seems baggy!

Is Jason the tallest out of the big three (freddy/myers)? Cause my Myers replica is going to be a smudge taller than Jason. You can tell in the photo :(

where can you buy cheap mannequins?

Cheap? No where! Jason's cost me $180 due to move able arms.

There are some skinnier ones on amazon for $120 no movable arms.

When you compare the cost of that to what some pay for 1/6 figures, $180 sounds cheap. [emoji4]

That's a very good point. That's why I don't deal with 1/6th. It's too small. I want something that will amaze people. I had my 26 or however old cousin (female) go into my horror lair. She screamed. I had someone else walk up the stairs to see Myers. They screamed. That is so satisfying to know my work actually looks realistic :p. I'm hoping Jason works out as good as Myers. I'm actually going to keep the blood app on the axe because it's actually somewhat decent. I just hope the mannequin can support the axe. Might have to use the included metal stand this time around.

I will be getting the clenching fists on Wednesday. So I'll paint those if needed, tape them on (using gorilla tape and hoping this works for the axe. If not I'll have to use epoxy or something to that effect), and then I'll figure out how to fix his body and make it bigger. I think I'll use a bunch of old t shirts to make him larger. No idea about the arms though. I'll probably buy polyfil and just fill the sleeves up. The arms need to be as light as possible due to the weight of the axe.

so 120 is the cheapest?

I've always wanted to try to do Myers and Jason, but if you are going to pay 180 on the body alone, why not get one of these for 200? (serious question, not trying to be sarcastic)

Cause they look like **** :p Well Jason/Freddy actually don't look terrible, but if you look up the Myers one. It's awful.

Jason is going to have an under mask and his hock on my 1/1. I'm sure he doesn't on that animatronic. They're both anorexic for some reason too. Shoes are too shiny, inaccuracy generally all around.

For $300 more, and several hours of work, I can have something that's at least a lot more realistic.

I don't think I ever posted these, but my Myers looks better in dim light. I still have to fix underneath his arms, it's a little flat. It's technically the wrong thread but just to show what it can look like if you put the time into it.

I'd suggest going for it. Myers wasn't too bad. Jason's a little trickier but gimme a couple weeks and he'll be done.

Looks sharp!

Remove that flap on the right pocket tho ;) did ya do any work to his actual face? SS did okay with the final chapter Jason. The mask and clothes definitely needed additional work however.
