Really the queen has not been done to death. Not that it matters, but she is very hard to make. But that's IMO

About 200 pages back, I expressed some lack of enthusiasm over the queen myself. Keep in mind that lack of enthusiasm was never saying I wouldn't get it. I'm just saying that I wanted other figures more and I 'get it' if some people are not excited. We all want 'in scale' until we have to find space for it (and pay for it). We all want crazy accurate until we realize something that big and heavy was never meant to be supported by those skinny legs (even the real prop was never free standing under its own power). So when you factor shelling out near $100, not having the space to properly display it, and the inevitability of a shelf tumble (All the QC in world won't stop a 2 foot long figure from having balance issues even with stable joints [which are always a question mark, "new factory" be damned])

That said I still pre-ordered the damn thing and I will happily manage the "issues" i just cited. I'm just saying I get it when people are not excited. As stated above, it really is a hard figure to make.

Now on to the next thing! Vaz or bust.

Christ! Looking at the cost of her were I to order from Forbidden planet it'd come to £134.99 = approx 170euro. With BBTS its $137.73 = approx 101euro

Even when customs get added on it'll probably still be cheaper ordering from the US. BBTS it is.

Seems a lot of money!

I agree with you. Other than the exceptional Mcfarlane Queen figure made over ten years ago we have only received two very meh undersized figures from Revoltech and Mcfarlane. Heck if you ask me the dog alien has received far more attention than it deserves between the Mcfarlane and Hot Toys figures.

Heres an old photo of my HT dog alien. Sure you could get him into some decent poses, but of all the figures I have owned it was hands down the most frustrating to pose. I'll probably pick up the Neca dog Alien but I wouldn't say I was super excited for it. Just my two cents.

I agree, Queen has not been done to death.
We have had 2 from McF and tiny Revoltech. Others are model kits.

I am waiting for Kulture Shock to list it, could be slightly cheaper then Forbidden Planet. Ordering delicate figure at this price from US scares me so dont want to use BBTS.

Tis pretty expensive alright for a NECA item but there's no way I'm passing on this one. The powerloader is the only other big item left really. As Kane said ''we've come this far, we must go on. We must go on.'' (or something to that effect)

:hi5:
Its a no brainer really!

Anyone who ordered the alien queen from moviereplicasdirect got their order cancelled?

NECA Alien Queen in the UK is going to be between £85-£90 in the shops judging from the UK distributors price there may be a few Ebayers who sell from home or have warehouses who will try and go cheaper. London shop prices i would say at least £100
