Just unpacked mine and forgive me if this has been addressed but...

Anyone else have scratches on their IP?

Thanks. I figured that's what it was but never hurts to ask.

I now have 3 armors with another on the way!!

After getting the diecast WM and now the IP and will certainly be picking up what ever comes out in diecast.
These figures are astonishing to look at and the articulation is great. I figured being diecast they would suffer in the articulation department, glad I was wrong.
Any Ironman fan needs to pick these up.
Kinda cool to have an Ironman that is actually metal. Great pics and poses everyone, keep em coming!!

I'm torn between IP and WM...need to get one of the two!

I was in the same position and chose War Machine because I already have a red white and blue character in my Marvel setup (Avengers Cap) It's merely an aesthetic choice in my case but both figures look awesome.

Do what I did- get both!!

Black characters, white characters, etc pays no mind to me. I'm not going to buy one just to fill a quota (kinda familiar). I enjoy the figure regardless of the race the actor portrayed him in the movie despite changing it from the source material.

I hear you and I collect based on what I enjoy as well. As a bonus my son gets to see someone who looks like him in the collection.

Tough choice- WM more elegant and no nonsence looking. IP bright and fun and eye catching....:gah:

The price difference might factor in as well. I believe that War Machine is a bit cheaper.. Probably because there is no face sculpt beneath the mask.

I intended to get both, but after getting WM Mk2, I realized it was a poor substitute for Mk1 WM, so I traded it for Mk1 WM and got IP and I couldn't be happier with the choice. While I never had the two die cast figs side by side, I much prefer the IP. WM Mk2 is certainly a great looking figure, but it just missed the mark on being WM for me.
