I've seen him go for as low as $400 used. I wonder if since he's sold out now if that's the cause for the price to jump up.

Yeah Iron Monger is a great piece along win the rest of the suits! ( didn't want to drag him out....hassle)

Are there pictures of the cracks on the legs?
I'm looking for those cracks on my Monger, but I might be looking at the wrong places.

Had bookmarked these:

Alright, so check this out. Yesterday I was looking at HT's facebook page and I came across these two pictures of a damaged Iron Monger:

Didn't think much at the time other than "Well, that sucks". Today I'm sitting here on my "display room" and I take a moment to admire my Iron Monger and noticed the same thing happened to mine. It has similar cracks in the exact same position.

I'm not even mad right now, just kind of feeling like an idiot for paying what I paid on this. Starting to wonder if it's even worth it.

I just received mine from BBTS and noticed these stress cracks on both legs (thigh) areas. I'm contacting BBTS now for a replacement. I asked my friend and he has the same problem with his. I wonder if this is a common problem? anyone else get these stress cracks in the same area?

Going over the pics I took of my Monger when I first got him, I can definitely see a crack at the front of his right hip. Looks like it was pretty substantial too and I totally missed it. :(

The real test will be when I look him over tonight. It has been 3 months of him standing in my case since I took that pic. If the crack has worsened, we will know for sure that they do get worse over time. If it is the same, that strengthens the case that this crack happens in assembly.

If it remains the same, I am not too stressed about it. I will slap a little glue in there as a preventitive measure and try and pose him so I can't see it as well. Still- Stuff like this should not be happening on $500 collectibles. :(

Sallah

Well I finally pulled the trigger and ordered the last one that BBTS had in stock, little dinged up box and the small cracked hips like others have had issues with, but I'm just excited to have this guy in my collection :yess:

I just bagged this bad boy off of eBay for $400 shipped. Seller says it's in 'terrific shape with no known issues'. So hopefully it won't have the hip cracks when I get it. Is there anything in particular that causes the hip cracks? Moving the legs too much or just looking at it wrong? I'm thinking if it's okay, I'll just take it out of the box, not move the hip joints any and stick it straight on my shelf.

They supposedly already had stress cracks upon opening, according to most owners, but they all said it wasn't a big deal, nothing to worry about.

They never seem to get any worse, but they all have them.
