You know it. Funny thing is, my Wife was only agreeable to buy this if I agreed that it would be my CHRISTMAS present. So I'm receiving him, shooting photos of him, and he's going bye bye for nine months.
At least I'll have the photos to look at.
Me I was married, but long story shor. She is gone. I buy wwhat I want and my girlfriend buys what she wants. We never fight over money, toys, etc . on the other hand my ex wife she told me what to do with my mone.

a cut piece of plexi might be a good alternative to glass. it will also be a tiny bit cheaper.

We have a bank account, not his and hers, and we decide together what gets spent. The fact that I just started collecting a little less than a year ago, and I have 20 Hot Toys figures.....I can't complain. I was amazed that she was even considering Iron Monger, but she loves a sale. So when it's $480 + $20 shipping at BBTS, and we had a chance to get one with a crushed Iron Man helmet for $410 shipped....she said yes.
So IMO it's well worth the wait.

Just got an email notice that my Iron Monger will be here a day early - tomorrow instead of Tuesday. So I've requested that he be held at the UPS depot, I'll have him in hand tomorrow morning at 8:30am!

Alright, so check this out. Yesterday I was looking at HT's facebook page and I came across these two pictures of a damaged Iron Monger:
Didn't think much at the time other than "Well, that sucks". Today I'm sitting here on my "display room" and I take a moment to admire my Iron Monger and noticed the same thing happened to mine. It has similar cracks in the exact same position.
I'm not even mad right now, just kind of feeling like an idiot for paying what I paid on this. Starting to wonder if it's even worth it.
