No background would be best and that's how I will display mine. I want the focus to be center on the statue and not distracted by the background.

If there is a big rotating stand for under the base, that is the same size would be perfect.

You could borrow your mum's lazy Susan and employ the cat to spin it round but you might have to return it if she's making a cake:p

Me too...will no doubt get my customary glass display case made for this with a mirrored background and have the statue rotating on an electronic turntable....that way every inch of Prime's detail can be viewed from no matter what angle your looking at it from :)

Electronic turntable, I haven't come across one of those yet. Must buy

I've seen a few automatic rotating turntables last year (forgot now who made them), but they would add too much height to this piece. They would work for a 1/4 statue, but not for this Optimus, especially if you plan on using the included Autobot base.
Must keep looking.

I think a better background would be an Earth based one, Prime wasn't a truck on Cybertron, plus a complex design like Prime needs a simpler background.

I HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU WATCH Transformers Prime... all episodes on netflix.... as a whole as good as the movies.... in some cases alot better....

yes there are some annoying bits... and the entire series could probably be edited down but there are moments of greatness... megatron and starscream are really great...

when prime comes back hulked out after almost dead using the forge of solus to repair him... beautiful....

and yes.. prime in his earth form does walk on cybertron numerous times.

i figured i am payig more than 4 k for 2 statues i better consume all media possible....

now at 45 i am having a midlife crisis and instead of a ferrari it is the transformers!

wtf.

yes buddy...I purchased 5 heavy duty ones last year for all my 1:1 Iron Man busts (thanks to the help of Averone) ;) you can purchase them quite easily and cost next to nothing. Remind me to PM you the link :)

Yea, the ones I purchased are the heavy duty ones buddy...so it will have no problem spinning Prime around :lol :yess:

I was referring to the height of the turntable. The large diameter turntable I've seen was about 3.5" tall.
I'd like to get one that was no higher than 1" from the table/shelf. I want to minimize the overall height from bottom of the turntable to the top of the statue.
I hope this makes sense.

Thanks Roberto. :)

Link please :)

Link me too!

would like the link also when you can. Thanks!

can I have the link for turn tables

done guys :hi5:
