As long a the next Iron Man is a comic version & not a movie version then I'll be happy with that. I know what your saying though, atleast SS aren't as bad as Hot Toys when it comes to Iron Man because then we would have no hope of getting our Dare Devil PF

Seriously. They haven't done one since the CQ. For as many IM statues that SS has produced you would think we would have a PF based on the comic by now.

I know I really want comic IM. I really like the movie MQ's & LSF's there done so far but I just don't want to buy movie Marvel or DC PF's, MQ's etc

It's not that I don't like the movie IM's but having a budget I need to pick a line & stick to it unlike you buying LSF's like its just another Hot Toy figure

Well, there are 2 comic based IM COMs already released. The ground punch Adi IM and the classic IM holding the U.S. flag. Even though both of these are listed as COMs, they are 1/4 scale. At the time these were made, COMs were being produced in both 1/4 and 1/5 scale. So, anyone wanting a 1/4 based comic IM can pick up either of those pieces and have IM well represented in their 1/4 collection. Now if peeps don't like either piece, I'm sure SSC will get around to releasing another IM statue in the PF format. We all know how much SSC likes making IM merch.

Shame on me as I own the flag carrying CQ! I actually love it. I sold my ground punch and kept the flag IM. He's as classic as classic can be. Bring on the modern comic version would have been the right words.....

It's all good James. You have a lot on your plate with the big move and updating your new home. I personally think both COMs are fantastic interpretations of a comic based IM. I love and own the ground punch IM. IMO, that has a very modern look for the character. The flag COM you have is the absolute best IM statue depicting his classic armor. I just think they are both great looking statues. But, like I said, I'm quite sure we'll see plenty more versions of IM from SSC in the future. If someone is in the market for a different modern IM, I have no doubt SSC will get around to it.
