Is it just me or is the sword a bit over-sized? It looks like it's almost as tall as Link.

It is big. But something I dont mind since it doesnt really hinder posing. A little positioning and it stays fine.

The only thing I will complain is the pegs used for the wrists and ankles. They should have matched the gloves and boot colors instead of the skin color. But again, very minor complain.

Got my Link yesterday. I'm so happy to him in collection.

It takes some balancing, but you can use the stand for jumping poses. Sorry about the quality. They look good on my laptop, but for some reason they came out grainy when I uploaded them.

Here's a not very good iPhone pic of mine

Picked mine up at the PO today as well. Had to pay a $30 customs charge, so with shipping came out to $250 Canadian or so from Amiami. Definitely not regretting the purchase; looks great in the box but have no where to display it. It'll stay in it's plastic prison for now..

Frank (above) really digging the left handed look. Classic :)
EDIT: Also a little envious of the Rah Kaneda :wave

It was never developed for right handed players. They mirrored the entire game for the US.

I just watched a gameplay video from the Japanese version of Skyward Sword and Link is clearly right-handed. Are you sure you're not thinkng of how the Wii version of Twilight Princess was mirrored from the Gamecube version because of the motion controls being geared towards using them right-handed?

Fairly certain he is.

Apparently someone emailed Medicom about the tunic and they said that it was Nintendo that made them change it, which I imagine is actually pretty damn likely. Seems Nintendo thought this tunic would be more accurate than the prototype. Unfortunately, if that's what the licencor says then that is how it is. This is why merchandise based on Capcom licenses are always ____ right now too, since they force things like the terrible SF4 designs.

Doesn't surprise me if true. Not one bit.

i wonder who was the color blind jackdonkey nintendo had handling the license and if medicom would relay the messages people sent about link back to nintendo.
i liked the sf4 style..the action nation akuma looks good. play arts just sucks in most everything.

Hey there, I have been following this figure since day one, and unfortunately, it's a little out of my range atm, and only have star wars items in my collection, but I'd love to make this an exception, (this and the gaming heads Gordon Freeman). My question is this: are any of the sideshow clone commanders a fair trade for this figure, since that's about all I have to trade for anyone interested

Ooo that's worse than the Water Temple. :horror

Nothing is worse than the Water Temple.

Water Temple was easy for me. Never understood the complaints.

Which Water Temple? I can't remember too clearly but I think the one in Twilight Princess was also a pain. The 3DS version of Ocarina of Time made the Water Temple much more bearable since you could quick swap the Iron Boots on and off.

I hate you all for talking me into getting this figure right after I had talked myself out of it by the way. :slap

Confirmed the payment method with AmiAmi on Friday and it's already in the states now.

Ocarina of Time's Water Temple is just annoying, and can be made unbeatable if you use your keys incorrectly from what I've seen in person with friends. I might get this down the line if I ever get some of Hot Toys VGMs, and also some RAH and general 1/6th scale video game figures. Otherwise this is near the bottom of my list.
