Apparently Kryptonian clothing it tear/fire/bullet/rocket proof as well. That suit was spotless at the end of it all, with not so much as a dirt smudge. One more and I'm done…Clark's hair was perfect after coming out from behind the locomotive. Now THAT is some hair gel with hold.

That's a very well thought out explanation. I completely agree with you on all points. I questioned Jor beating Zod as well which led me to think that perhaps all Kryptonians have military training before going on to do what they were bred to do. It's a stretch but I can't think of anything else.

I think it was a symbolic play on the ideal behind the natural birth of Kal-el and a persons ability to become more than society had intended for them. In this case Jor-el, a lonely scientist believed in something so strongly he was able to best a military bred commander in hand to hand combat. Not saying I am right, but that's just my take on it.

Faora did get KO by the helicopters/airplane air strike. She must of felt something lol. Her clear visor was gone after that hit. Don't remember if her armor was damage though.

Her mask had just failed. Could have been sensory overload.
Yeah that could of been it to. Hey what's username changed your name again I see lol. Been wanting to ask how are those MoS custom stands coming along? I need one for my superman that's standing on a Hot toy stand lol.

If it were up to me, I'd make superman's only power super-strength. Flight is a feat of strength and that's about it. The laser vision is cool but not needed and I never cared for the ice breath. He doesn't need to be invincible, just hard to damage. Then there's no question of can he breath in space? How does he shave? Is he faster than the flash? It would just make him a better character, imo. Then maybe you could write him into situations that can't be solved with just strength. Then he actually fits as part of a team. He's the "strong guy." Flash is the "Fast guy." Batman is the "smart guy", etc. Superman kind of makes everyone redundant just because he can do everything. People love him for that but as a character I just don't see how that's interesting. The character's strength should be his connection to Earth and his willingness to put himself in harm's way for his adopted people. If he's not risking much, what's the point? Then they bring in these disaster scenarios just to give Supes a reason to get off the couch. Idk, I'm just ranting. It's like someone said before, if they can't hurt each then what's the point of even fighting?

what about when Zod lost to Jor-el

I definitely didn't like that, I didn't like fighter Jor-El, he died anyway despite fighting Zod, they might as well should have shown a non-fighter Jor-El stalling Zod with means other than physical and then his death would have been way more dignifying than being sucker-stabbed and it wouldn't have been inconsistent with the "born to be a warrior" trait of Zod.

Either that, or it occurs to me, trying to justify that, that Jor-El being the brightest mind in Krypton was actually an intelligent fighter as well, since he was a genius after all.

It's one of the very few complaints I have with the movie.

I don't think Superman should not have a fighting style, in fact, I think boxing suits him pretty well, and having a super-mind, he'd eventually try to develop the best way to take advantage of his super strength.

I love the heat vision and his ice breath, it's an extension of his super strength.

He's definitely not faster than flash at all, Flash ran so fast once he stopped existing in human form :lol

Superman is as smart as Batman, maybe smarter with time, but that doesn't make them redundant, because of their different moral codes, that makes them more interesting as a dichotomy.

Superman may be superstrong and have slight technique, but Wonder Woman is a born-warrior with a lifetime of training, she's a better fighter than Supes.

And Superman can get hurt, remember when he destroyed the World Engine, he was beat up.

Idk, I actually think Russel Crowe saw the script, said he's not going to do it if he's going to get his *** kicked and they changed the script to have him winning but dying a hero's death. To show him getting pummeled and hanging on just to get the pod launched would have been much more powerful. It's my biggest issue with the movie (which I enjoyed) because the threatening supervillain gets defeated in the first act...by a scientist...in hand to hand combat...and we know that Jor-el is genetically inferior to him physically. Either the scene wasn't well thought out or they had to give in to Crowe.

That would be a very douchy move by Crowe, does he have a record of being a dbag?

haha I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic and I'm not thoroughly knowledgeable on this subject but there was something with him throwing a phone at someone and I read somewhere about how he kept trying to tell Snyder how he should improve the story. That's all just rumors, I can't even remember where I heard that stuff. Also, didn't South Park do something where he's totally full of himself? He does kind of come off that way.

So weird that they didn't do her. Anyone who put either Zod, or Jor would've bought her right? If you bought Zod then you're in for the villains and if you bought Jor then you're obviously completing the line. I have to assume that a large percentage of people who bought either of those figures would've quickly preordered faora

I honestly don't think she's going to happen. I really think that Hot Toys would have announced her with the rest of the line last summer if they intended on putting her out.

Given she isn't the main protagonist or antagonist, I can understand HT not willing to make a gamble for her. However, I think she would make a great exclusive. I for one would definitely be in for a Faora. If enough people rant for her on their Facebook page, I'm sure she will be made. The Crow is an example where many pleaded and out of the blue he is finally available.

Hey what's username changed your name again I see lol.

I got a few emails from people who thought i had been banned from here, but were wanting me to make them stuff(and telling me some guy called *Bar* had stolen my avatar).
I was costing me work, so i had it changed back, lol.

Coming along.
I glued one together and painted it this week. It's looking great.
I also put a bit tape on one in the "approximate" area that i will be chopping to add the HT stand hole.

Whoa, when will those stands be up for order??? I would love a Superman and Zod base. I'm not using the stock HT stands because they're so damn huge! I was planning on using just plain HT stands, but if these will be available, I'M IN!!

No, he was probably in extreme pain while directly in its beam, but that's not the same as being hurt/beat-up since he completely recovered almost instantly once it was over. There is no physical cost or risk to his heroics. He knows something might sting for a little bit, but it once it's over, he'll be as good as new right away like it never even happened.

If a human punches another human in the face hard ONCE, in addition to the pain, there will probably be a black eye, a busted lip or a bleeding nose. If two Kryptonians under a yellow sun pummel each other repeatedly, there won't even be a scratch, the most that will happen is their gear gets damaged. Of course it makes sense that no Earthling or Earth weapon could hurt Superman, but he also doesn't have any residual damage from a Kryptonian super-weapon, and he can't even be injured by someone of his same Kryptonian physiology?
