I think he looks pretty awesome. My guess is an alternate version of Damian. The urban ninja/ tech suit makes me think that he's a man of means, but also someone who doesn't underestimate the value of stealth. Thus, League of Assassins; thus, Damian. I'm probably wrong, though.

Did you read the article, Gaspar? It doesn't address the Arkham Knight outside of pictures, but it definitely got me more hyped for the Batmobile.

Arkham Knight is giving me vibes of Iron Man combined with Batman Beyond. I would laugh if he turned out to be Jean-Paul Valley, and if the only reason they gave him such a name was to avoid having people confuse him with Arkhamverse Azrael. :lol

Great pics. Yeah, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say whoever he is, Arkham Knight is definitely not the Joker returned. :lol

I liked the discussion of the Batmobile too.
....became immediately apparent was that it (AA Batmobile) wasn’t especially practical for getting around Gotham. The clearance of the wheels and suspension meant that this dragster design would struggle on uneven ground....While he is not someone who ever shows off for the sake of it, it is very important that you know when Batman is around. He doesn’t build a distinctive vehicle just because he likes to drive a flash car. He drives a unique vehicle for the same reason he wears his cape and cowl – it’s part of his persona of intimidation.

This led us to the design we have now, which I think is a great balance between a practical vehicle and one that is undeniably, uniquely a Batmobile.

While I agree with his points that the Batmobile should value practicality over flashiness, (his description sounds a lot like the Tumbler to me btw), I disagree with his conclusion that it is "undeniably, uniquely a Batmobile". Without the Bat-insignias all over the tire threads and the hubcaps, it looks like any futuristic armored urban assault vehicle. Its basic shape, like the Tumbler, doesn't exactly scream "Batman" to me like the 89 car or even the AA version does.

Godfriggindamn!

This thing is going to be BEAUTIFUL to play. I'm starting to real dig the suit.

I cant get over how beautiful this game is! Gotta say im loving this gens graphics big time. While the Arkham games always looked good, they weren't that pretty compared to other games, with all the ugly jaggies. Until now that is

The articles on IGN describing the gameplay got me soooo hyped, my gosh

Everything is soooo overdesigned...
First two games were the bright sunlight in a middle of cold dismal day that is DC of the past decade. So sad.

Arkham Knight sure has a lot in common look wise with The Wrath from the recent comics. Their armor and even the camo are similar remove the cape and they could be the same character.

Just did, while I hate the new suit and the AK design, the Batmobile grew on me and it's a feature I'm most excited for.

I'm gonna have a blast driving around Gotham.

Another awesome article from Kotaku:

Why is there so much hate for the new suit design? Always with the "it's too busy" stuff, but it doesn't strike me as being any busier than the New 52 suit, and, while some people have a great amount of disdain for the TDK suit doing its own thing, this is way less segmented than that, and, also, it's inherently "Batman." Large, comic accurate Batsymbol, grey suit; it's still Batman. I get that the AC suit was incredible, and I do love it, but I don't think RS would've changed it if they didn't have a reason for doing so. Meantime, I find it, at least, aesthetically pleasing, so, I'm making the best of it.:lol

That armored suit makes the new52 suit look minimalist and plain, it even makes the new 52 design look pretty darn good in my eyes, like Riddick said; It's over -designed.... Needlessly complex, full of lines, with the Nolanized realism of the exposed armor and the undersuit looks like it could be a surfing wetsuit.

The way I see it is: the new 52 was a bit busier and I got tired of it quickly, the Nolan version was innovative for it's time and I rolled with it because of the realistic approach of the trilogy, this new suit though, this new suit is overkill for me.

The new 52 suit looks super clean and plain compared to this new one.

The suit is this weird, unhappy medium between Nolan and the comics. Like they took the weaker aspects of both looks and combined them. It's "realistic" without looking functional, and stylized without looking cool.

I just hope that skins are available from the get go. This suit looks like the new robocop.
