Angry Birds Star Wars and Lego Marvel. Could we please have 'real' versions of these universes for roll-out? I guess not.

I agree, Marvel needs a great adult based game, Wolverine being the last good one.

Also another Diablo style game, last one was a stinker.

also Marvel vs Capcom 3 needs to be ported.

Xbox One owners: Expect more free-to-play games
Microsoft gaming executive Phil Spencer says "good success" of F2P on Xbox 360 means more in the pipeline for new system.
by Eddie Makuch on February 24, 2014

Microsoft's first foray into the free-to-play console games market on Xbox 360 was successful, so much so that it sounds like the company is increasing its investment in this space with its next-generation console the Xbox One.

Asked on Twitter if Microsoft has any news to share on free-to-play console games, Spencer teased: "Yes. Good success with F2P on 360 will mean things come to Xbox One." He said Microsoft will announce specific details on new projects closer to their launch.

Microsoft's first free-to-play console game for Xbox 360 was Happy Wars, which has seen more than 6 million players since its original introduction in October 2012. Other free-to-play Xbox 360 games include Warface, Ascend: Hand of Kul, and World of Tanks. Those titles are all free to download, but you can also spend real money on virtual items.

Though Microsoft has labeled its free-to-play initiatives a success, without knowing how many people are actively spending money in the virtual worlds, it's difficult to know just how popular they really are. The same is true for Xbox One; Microsoft has not disclosed any engagement-type statistics for free-to-play games Killer Instinct or Xbox Fitness, among others.

In other Xbox One news, Microsoft today announced a special $500 Xbox One Titanfall bundle that includes a black console and a copy of the game. In addition, Microsoft today announced the system's first-ever price cut, dropping the price tag from £429.99 to £399.99 effective Friday, February 28. This price drop only applies to the UK.

For anyone having the same problem, my xbox wouldn't recognise the yes command. It would answer to xbox turn off, but not yes. It seems your machine can develop this problem and you may think your not talking correct and generally going mad.

If it happens, power it off by the front of the console holding the button down for 10 seconds and turn power supply off. They recommend disconnecting the leads but I didnt.
Problem should be fixed with xbox obeying your command :)

Those new updates look good and I'm glad they're cleaning up the friends list. I hated going to friends and then having to click on friends just to see who was online.

Thanks Fritz, update looking good. I played the Titanfall Beta, not knowing about the xbox one party chat change, and it took me way way too long to figure out that you had to turn on 'oarty chat' or something - just crazy. This change definitely addresses that, and just in time for TF

I always scratched my head about the having to switch party chat on after joining a party. I mean that's pretty much the only reason to join a party. I've never joined one and not talked to my buddies.

Yeah I would love to know their thought process on making the 'enable chat' or whatever a separate step at the time; just redundant

So I noticed this happened to me last night and tonight. Guess I'll give your directions a try.

Xbox One Twitch app broadcasts at higher quality than PS4
720p streams and archiving support for Twitch on Xbox One. That'll be nice for Titanfall!
by Martin Gaston on March 4, 2014

It looks like broadcasting to Twitch might be better on Xbox One than PlayStation 4.

Canny Reddit user rotj ran Microsoft spokesperson Larry 'Major Nelson' Hryb's recent stream of Plants versus Zombies: Garden Warfare through the Twitch Analyser, which determined the Xbox One Twitch output is of a greater resolution than that of PlayStation 4.

Major Nelson's stream was broadcast at a resolution of 1280x720, while Twitch streams on PlayStation 4 weigh in at 960x540. Both platforms output at 30fps.

Additionally, Xbox One Twitch streaming will not broadcast audio from Party Chat, and streamers can see chat and viewer statistics without them being displayed on the stream.

The Xbox One will also allow streamers to archive their streams, which is a much-requested bit of functionality the PS4 currently lacks.

Twitch streaming on Xbox One will roll out with the platform's March update, which promises to improve, among other things, the Party Chat experience. Microsoft is making no secret about the fact that it's implementing these features to make way for the launch of Titanfall on March 11.

I've had it happen a couple times where I popped in a blu ray and my xbox would tell me that the blu ray isn't compatible with the player but all I had to do was eject the disc and pop it back in. Problem solved. Haven't heard anything about an update glitch though.

I get that problem with Xbox 360 and Xbox 360 games.
The console can't recognize it's own games. But it's odd that it happens to only a select few titles.

Sometimes my system does that with games actually. I'm not sure what I was doing but I think it had something to do with playing one game and then popping in a different game before fully quitting. A pop up would say that the game is eithe incompatible or not installed. Then I'd have to close the game and then it will work properly.
