They're obviously just using a stock. Will be a specific body on release mark my words.

True they did end up fixing MoS Superman body. Hope this one gets released early.

well...
i do know that current body doesn't fit head colors. strongly, not like on DX10 (it did misfit there, too, but slightly).
thus i hope that this photo session was just an urgent setup cause they didn't make a new body yet.
if i'm wrong, we all lose.

This is the only HT fig I cant wait to get this year, well maybe Robocop too. Most of the HT figs announced lately have been instant passes for me, which is a good thing in a way. Roll on December, lol I'm wishing my life away.

Doubt they will make a special body to go with this.
Probably a ttm20 with chest bulletholes.
Hope they will not keep the no chest articulation that the DX13 body has.
Would be nice that HT would start doing sculpted legs too.
My PS custom is on a TTM20 (before it was on a MMS117 body) and it looks quite bulky, thanks to the tight fit of its clothes (saturday toys jacket and platoon barnes pants). The clothes on the this BD HT looks a bit too baggy for the body, a bulkier body or tighter tailoring would probably do the trick.

Doubt they'll change the body tho honestly. This isn't the mos figure where it was severely wrong. This is more like the wolverine figure where the body was built for the character in the first place and they just miraculously decided to make bigger heads.

The Rock body for the GI Joe figure was horribly wrong, but they didn't fix it prior to release. Seems like a crap shoot as to if or how they will make changes like that.

But yeah it seems like there's gonna be an access panel regardless of no PERS in this instance.

I just went back and seen you quoted me when you said it. Sorry buddy, I missed it too cause this thread moves so fast.

They will definitely use a PERS hatch on the sculpts, but leaving the moving eyes will not be missed for this one. One look he will have the Gargoyles on, so moving eyes is not necessary. The tanker full bd won't really need it either and painted eyes will work fine. I agree with you that the DX13 got it right and if PERS looks that good on all future DX figures, then there won't be much reason to complain about it.

Yes, the Gars are defo too small imo, or his head Is too big, lol.
Maybe two sets of boots? One clean pair & one Battle Damaged pair, like how they are after he gets run over by the tanker.
Thinking about it; A whole second Battle Damaged set of clothes would be neat.

Is that pipe piece on the Dio base anything in particular? I cant remember.

by the way...
if that is a TTM-20 body - with already huge, thick neck - and that neck looks too thin with that head...
what's the scale of the head then, 1/5? is that how Hot Toys are going to fit into 1/4 - step by step?
