Even though I'm an OT guy when I think of Obi-wan I think of Ewan...when's a Ewan Obi-Wan (PF) coming out I wonder.

My guess is 2014. There was a teaser about an armoured Obi-Wan earlier this year. Since they announced Cody PF (and Savage Opress), and already made another version of Kenobi as Mythos, I bet we will see this piece next year. They really seem to be going into CW territory.

Stop talking about all kind of characters and give us vader pf

I'm guessing there is a limited market for half size statues of old men dressed in rags.

I think it may have more to do with them not being able to replicate the new "skin technology" satisfactorily on production pieces.

Well the one shown at every comic con is supposedly from the factory but who knows. If they don't make Obi I'll just wait for Vader

Don't collect DC what happened?

What is wrong with the Batman PF? It is actually pretty impressive.

Sure, it is impressive. But there was quite a stir when photos started popping up with the issues that it has: baggy armpits and 5 o'clock shadow on portraits.

Point is that SSC claimed to have displayed a factory version at a con. It didn't have any of these issues.

I am not sure why anyone on this board is ever surprised the production piece is different than the prototype, it always is.

I'm pretty sure a lot of people adjusted their expectations according to the piece that was shown at a con, and was claimed to be a production piece. Again, the point is, the production piece that was displayed looked different compared to the production pieces that people received. I believe that this discrepancy provided the biggest let-down for most people.

True I will give you that assuming they weren't lying. Although I am betting that it was from production however it was probably a production sample. I am willing to bet most manufacturers who create production samples probably put a lot of time into making it perfect. When it comes time to mass-produce them, the same time and care is usually not put into it, as we have seen.
