How is this different than the die-cast release except for the removable visor and damaged shoulder, both of which could have easily been included in the release many of us put a deposit on???
Who said anything about a removable visor? :lol

This is the 1st film / 3rd act Murphy as far as it seems so far.. although I'd welcome a helmeted head too, for sure.

I would suggest comparing the Mark VII and Mark VII Battle-Damage for an indication of what they're doing here with Robocop. The extent of the damage on the latter just could not be achieved with interchangeable parts.

Watch the movie. He's completely mangled from head to toe when he takes his mask off. Absolutely not achievable with a swap out chest piece.

I'm struggling to find the right thread to post this in, but I have the original Robocop release from Hot Toys - obviously, the helmet isn't meant to be removable, but I know that some have managed it. Does anyone have any tips on how to get it off in the least destructive way possible?

Now that Enterbay has shown their hand, does anyone think that this will end up being the Robert John Burke Robocop? Or has there been some confirmation that this is Weller?

I understand some people who are diehard Robobcop fans wanting this but to be honest this doesn't appeal to me very much. I always sort of thought the scenes at the end where he has the helmet off he just looks more goofy than anything. I would have been okay with it if it were just a separate head sculpt included with the normal figure but I can see myself buying a stand alone figure of this version of Robocop.

:lol Oops. Yeah it should have been can't. Regular Robocop I'm still on the fence about but am more leaning towards purchasing him. I probably won't get the ED-209 though even if it's pretty cool.

I was thinking today about this future HT release and I would love to see his released with two head sculpts for Murphy.

I would like to see the head sculpt that was displayed on the advertisement board that HT used to announce this figure (when Murphy walks on water) and I would also love to see a second head sculpt that portrays when the old man asks Robocop what his name is and Robocop answers 'Murphy' with that little smile, I think that would be awesome.

What else can we expect with this release? a Cobra Assault Cannon is a must but what else?
