....SIXTY-NINE DUDE!!!

Bad night for games in this house last night. This game freezing all the time and my kids were playing lego marvel on 360 and kept freezing. Sick and tired of these expensive *** games being released with problems.

Oh you guys will hate what i'm about to say here.
I got the chance to talk to someone at WB Montreal, live near their offices and she told me that WB Montreal are set to do the rest of the series and that Rocksteady are not planning anymore batman games for a long while and that the employees of WB Montreal have been reading the backlash and reviews and even so some of the fans and gamers are not happy with the end results, the numbers are high enough for the sales to warrant them to make more and they are proud of the game they released.

Forgive me if I take that with a grain of salt, but I can't imagine this series without Rocksteady. With that in mind, they should be proud of their game; it's a great story with great gameplay, but, at the same time, they shouldn't be satisfied with it. There are still a lot of glitches that should be fixed, and they shouldn't ignore that. If they truly are listening to the fan reactions, they shouldn't be "proud of the game they put out," but, rather, what it could have been. 90% of the complaints I've witnessed have had nothing to do with quality, but, rather, quality control.

Just finished the main story today - loved the story, but god, the bugs and some pacing/design decisions were terrible. The first 3-4 hours were a slog compared to the last 6 or so.

This is a 9.0 game with 7.0 quality. A damn shame.

(This was on PC, btw).

And I'm taking "the friend @ WB" story with a grain of salt as well - unless RockSteady is twiddling their thumbs. Kevin Conroy also mentioned working on a massive next Arkham installment, and I really doubt a studio of WB Montreals size has had 2 concurrent massive open world games in development, and one gearing up for a release next year.

i love this game. i have the collector's edition and i dont have the problems u guys have. could it by because its on 2 disc's. the storyline on one en the multiplayer on a disc.

Good game. Too many bugs. Although sometimes it felt more like a map pack or expansion to Arkham city, like Halo 3 ODST was to Halo 3. But admittedly that's a very big nitpick. I wish that it had a few of the writers from the original two especially Paul Dini

Also why the hell is there multiplayer on this game? Is anyone even playing that. I tried but it just didn't work. Some games don't need multiplayer just give us more story dammit

I too felt that several years was too few when you look at how much Gordon has aged, and some other aspects of the game.

So mid-70's is a decent time to me considering the City Plaque saying 199X. Seems fair to me considering Gordon's aging, Croc's aging, Penguin's, Jokers, Batman's notoriety with the City.

There are some thing that bug me though. Ivy still owns the Flower Shop in Park Row, and that'd make her under 18 in Origins. And don't get me started on Harley. While I liked her inclusion in the game, I felt like it really didn't fit giving the time elapsed. I took the Asylum Interview Tapes and Chronicles of Arkham as part of the story, and still do. But the her inclusion in Origins throws all that off.

Also, you can find an apartment belonging to Dr. Penelope Young. Hate to say it, but I doubt she'd already be a doctor.

It's a game.
Well I'm sorry after seeing Rocksteady take so much care with the franchise to ensure that the story and timeline was in check that I'm a bit upset when another developer couldn't keep their own story straight or keep things in line with the previous games.

Something like that shouldn't be that hard. :dunno

I'm just trying to make the timeline make sense, because I like Origins, and I want it to fit into the Arkhamverse.

So I just found all of the Riddler datapacks. What a waste of time for such a small payoff.

UGH! I know right! I was standing by this game despite some of its short comings but the Data packs were just stupid. There is a ton of them and none are really that complicated to acquire so its just tedious and then when you get them all it just practically says thanks for playing.
