In fact the original prototype's bat symbol was higher which was done by martin canale...

So that makes me wonder if the symbol was brought down at the direction of DC. Don't want to hide the trademarked symbol of one of your most iconic characters.

It doesn't make sense cause when you do it like the way you said, you distort the whole upper chest and it doesn't look right anatomically! If DC was unhappy about the symbol then Sideshow should change the cape...

I'm not not bothered by the symbol as much as I am the leg and facial hair . I hope I get heads that have a lighter tone of facial hair. Anyone else agree?

If am not cancelling and waiting to arrive and then return it . I will have to pay shipping which will not be returned to me and believe me to ship back to US from Europe its a lot, so I prefer loosing the NRD and some money from the statue than loosing more money on shipping.

I know. That why I said it's not an option for Europeans. But I thought it was just custom fees or taxes that you didn't get back. Sideshow doesn't pay for return shipping outside the U.S.?

I would officially like to thank SS for correcting my knowledge on Batman , never knew that he was originally from Mexico.....Eviva Mechico....

If they wanted to teach them a lesson, they'd wait until it shipped, and then return them. Sideshow has to pay return shipping (although that doesn't work so well in Europe because they hate imports). Or, they'd refrain from pre-ordering in the first place.

Exactly. However, let's not forget the long line on the WL. Hell, it's so long that the WL is closed. So, if one just cancels their order, SSC keeps the NRD and converts someone on their WL and ships it out to them instead. Yeah, that'll teach SSC a lesson.

Mine arrives next Wednesday. I'm guardedly optimistic after seeing those last photos. Short ears for me - giraffe neck will stay in the box.

I agree, there's just something not right about that head other than the obvious neck problem. That will stay in the box as well.

In regards to this forum... Gray background would be easier on my eyes. The white is too white.

It'd be awesome if we had themes installed that we could choose from. I have them on forums I've built. They please everyone's viewing habits!

I got my notification email yesterday that my batman will be arriving in the warehouse in 12 days. So I'm assuming this is the second batch?

I'm wondering If sideshow are gonna learn from the exclusives and fix the pit on the regular before shipping.

It's the proportions. This is what happens when you have one sculptor who does the head, another who does the figure, and another doing the cape. SS' division of labor turned the Joker into a disproportionate mess, and with the long eared sculpt, this is no different. Thankfully with the short eared portrait, the figure looks like his trapezius muscle matches up.

Just a comparison shot for the highlight how his arm looks too far from the connected area because of the stitches made wrong! Please someone connects with Sideshow and gets a respond about the problem! I know everybody excited about the release of this statue but let you know I am a big fan of Batman and waiting this statue for 2 years...
