The only thing definite from SS is when they give the PO date. Other than that they're always teasing about what's coming. Many missed the Cable PF artwork on last year's calendar. Jean, Emma, IM3 PFs, New Doom, I'm sure I'm missing something else that's been teased, but no word as to when any will actually be available.
I wish SS didn't provide so many teases as far in advance as they do... Jean and Emma were teased over a year ago and since then they've not only had newer reveals, but also put those reveals up for PO already. Not to mention there's been several price hikes since then.

your analogy is spot on IMO and let's not leave out the Biggest Tease of all Wonder Woman and as far as dates are concerned it has been awhile since some pieces have been released on time Batman PF is one , that said I would much prefer a small delay to make sure everything is correctly done.
As far as all the praise and those who have to find fault in everything including a $9 dollar difference, I like the X-Force DeadPool, I have the original Version and the changes maybe small and insignificant to some but I for one like the reverse color X-Men base, which I was wanting them to do and the Swords, don't have a problem with either, looking forward to adding this to my Collection.

The only 1 I can think of now that nobody mentioned is the new Red Skull, another one that was teased in a video nearly 2 years ago and fully revealed this past summer. How many statues have been teased and/or revealed, gone up for PO and even shipped since then? For example, Storm was teased and revealed shortly after, went up for PO a week later, has since shipped and even received a variant that shipped since Red Skull was first shown.
I'm not mad, I don't even want Red Skull lol, it's just an observation. I'm not sure why SS teases some pieces way too far in advance while others just pop up quickly. But such is the way of things.

I understand guy, it is frustrating but imagine if they did release everything all at once? there would be so many pre orders, I believe the reason why sideshow piece are not as good as before is because everything is rushed, I mean before sideshow use to take their time release and teasing statue.
i think they should make and concept pic of the statue first do a survey on which one the fans vote for, then they should make a number of edition let say 1000 then tease it a month before release because i hate pre ordering something that take a million years to come out like batman PF lol
i dunno this my opinion i would rather have a quality item like sideshow did in the old days

I knew that when I was making my comment my Friend Shabir, the point just got lost in translation as to what I meant and to what I was referring to, I understand what you are eluding to it is just frustrating, that you or anyone should have to wait 2 years for a piece or even a revel aka Wonderwoman and others not at all, I believe in taking ones time within a reasonable time frame and I can accept that and no one should expect statues to come out all at the same time they would loose business and a lot of us would be broke, that's why everything is staged in monthly cycles or per quarter and the reason for a tease months in advance of the PO date is to build up interest, a moth before would be insane and if you couldn't get that piece within the allotted time you would be SOL.
I do remember the good ol days when things ran at a different pace, been collecting since the late 90's, as far as a concept piece they should stick to the parameters of that piece and not change it, regardless of who in charge you preview a piece a certain way you should get said piece that way, no last minute changes BS, like Rogue's A$$ or Darth Vaders arm just to name a couple

It's one thing waiting for pieces to be revealed but what is really starting to wind me up is the constant delays of items that have been revealed and deposits taken.
Yes they have our money so should at least have the decency to explain the reason for the delays instead of us having to go onto their site to see the latest date they have put it back to. I have ordered from a local retailer and payed up front. I can't ask them for reasons because they are playing the same waiting game. I will already have to wait another couple of months after this starts shipping to get mine.
Personally speaking about the IM LSB but I'm aware of many items that are constantly being extended for release.
SS have decent CS with reps often coming on here. Why can't they be clear and honest about these delayed items?

Yeah, as helpful as CS reps are in taking care of any damaged items, there's no way they're gonna be given any "up to the minute" info from the higher ups. It's really just a matter of how much can a customer deal with before they stop supporting a company.

CS is just a branch of the company. It would be very unlikely that they know anything. In fact, most CS departments only hold the same knowledge that the end-users or customers do. So don't expect to get any valuable information from them.

Yeah but if it was my business and I commissioned a factory to produce 3,000 pieces and they kept delaying for upto a year I would want questions answering.
