Maybe they're confusing them with the regular edition of the game. In any case, it's not a big deal if you get them before the console comes out, since you wouldn't be able to play them until you get the console.

I remember the industry doing that with the launch of the Xbox360 as well. I'm almost certain other console launches as well.
It generates interest, increases awareness of the console, and more money out of consumer's pockets.

Lol not yet. I made a run for the border on Sunday just for this.
Now I'm on a diet for an upcoming competition so no more taco bell for me. (It's been over a year since I ate there so the rest of the night was exciting)

Sony truly has regained their lost reputation crown.
It's crazy how much it's the cool thing to have preordered the PS4 and uncool for the X1.
Every kid, teen or adult I run into and ask which they're buying or being bought for them, they all say PS4.
Its like MS, for better or worse, has become the corporation to hate now.

I think its more about how badly MS has hurt their own reputation than it is Sony doing anything to help theirs. Sony has basically done what they were probably always going to do. Release a more powerful PS3. Simple. But thanks to the stupidity and greed of MS, that straight forward approach to next gen seems ingenious lol.
It would be unwise to let everyone know GTA V was coming to next gen/pc. They want to milk current gen as much as possible. It will come, I'm sure of it. Either next gen and PC or only PC.

I see. Yeah, you're right. That doesn't seem very likely now. Sales for current gen seems to go pretty well. They want to keep it that way until it cools down. Then.. BAM! "GTA V for PS4 and Xone!" Another billion right there.

i'm keeping my Preorder .. i know the Launch titles are "meh" ...
Because I want to start a next gen Library from the start - Watch Dogs/ AC4 ... i know they are in current gen too, but these titles i feel like i'll be keeping replaying it and i don't want to pull out Past (current) gen console for it .

Yeah, although I like the launch line up... they don't seem like games I need right now.
Still got Ratchet & Clank, Batman Arkham Origin's coming to PS3 and theirs still games I need to catch up on like Resistance 3, ICO collection, Starhawk, etc etc.
