Conan needs some battle scars! Did I mention that it needs more blood and dirt? Any chance the weapons and chains are made out of metal? As for the base, I wish there are some half eaten corpses (or body parts) or....not just skulls.

I don't own any ARH statues and probably never will. I am in no way invested this company. However I am a fan of Conan.
We have to wait until some talented statue photographers capture this p-icture at the con from multiple flattering angles before passing our judgements on this piece.
I can honestly say i was one of the biggest doubters on the forum, but after seeing those lousy pictures with a FLASH, i'm actually intrigued. It seems those knuckleheads @ ARH made something really nice. I truly believe the best of this piece is yet to come!

Its not a good sign when McFarlane's 1/8 figure (which looks like the reference for this statue) is more detailed and intricate than the 1/4 statue.
dude, you cannot accurately judge this piece by the horrible pics posted by Averone. pictures taken with a FLASH will make the most impressive collectible look lousy. You are comparing a flattering pic of the McFarlane figure vs a terrible pic of the ARH diorama.

Both of them are taken with flash and at roughly the same angle..No flash won't change much regarding the details and intricacies of the sculpt

again, i'm not buying this and could care less is ARH sinks or swims. But i call it as i see it. Anyone judging the piece by the the 2 or 3 (flash) pics isn't giving the jokers at ARH a fair shake.
Photographing collectibles with a flash is a big No-No, which is why it's mind-boggling that Averone posted those pictures. When Sideshow put a collectible up for pre-order, NONE of those pics are shot with a flash. The Flash dramatically alters the viewers perception and does infact change the appearance of the details & intricacies of the sculpt.
