:lol

I thought spotting was like using your comm rose. And it's telling your squad that you see a sniper or some bull**** which tags 'em red; making 'em easy to shoot.

Thats actual spotting heh. The in game spotting is just visually tagging people so they show up on radar and whatnot.

:wink1:
God i hope so, would make others want to talk and play as a team. PS3 gaming is like "the silence of the lambs".
Dont have a good PC, but looking forward to trying that new addition

Now that the PS4 comes with a mic, it probably wont be as bad on next gen. Just dont expect to hear anything worth listening to. You'll hear peoples tvs, their radios, conversations you'd rather not hear, screams of profanity and of course the zit faced kid trying out for American Idol now and then. That can all be fixed with the jute button, but it can be tough to get someone who actually wants to talk about the game and play it properly.

How are voice rooms done on console? Talking to your team is essential. Almost.

Dont know about xbox, but on ps3 it was random one off events, so i couldnt tell you.
I gave up and just went to Death Match and Team Death Match in the end.

:goodpost: yip totally agree with ya. Hope the mic is a good build one, mind you a have a nice big headset that keeps my ears warm 2 :yess:

I played BF on the 360. You could talk to people in your 4 man squad, but that was it. If you played with randoms, you were just thrown inyo whatever squad had a spot open and 9 times out of 10, no one talked. Even when they were mic'd up. I think most people on the 360 are using party chat, so theyre talking to friends from other games and whatnot. Trying to find random people to play with who will talk and communicate is almost impossible. Between people in party chat, people without mics and peoples who simply dont want to talk, its hopeless lol. Not a big deal in games like CoD where everyone lone wolfs it and team work isnt needed, but it sucks in BF.

LOL yip, esp when the sniper on roof can see everything, has a mic, is signing away and doesnt bother to tell his team mates that a tank and like 6 players are just around the corner, guarding a conquest point. Then laughs as 3 go down in a hail of bullets:slap
Sounds like the team thing was the same in ps3 version, as i thougt is was only set around your other 3 team mates.

I gotta admit, getting your first counter-knife kill is exhilarating.
Or when they knife you and they get knifed by ya team mate at the same time. Their moment of glory just got snuffed haha.

I just did this to a guy... they were maaaaad. :lol

The more I play this beta, more I like it... Domination is fun, Conquest sucks with 24 players.

It can't tell if the glitch where only one person can knife someone at once is present. I was chasing this guy and trying to knife him but it wouldn't work and eventually he turned around and shot me.

So when you control a base you can access various weapons scattered about.

It that just for the beta?

Am liking the spawn screen, Not liking how slow vehicles are, not liking the UI for the end of match report, loving the new pistol

Seems like they did that for the beta.

Just finished playing for half an hour after the marathon download & driver updates...

Dunno if I like it, it's definitely different form BF3. Maybe it's just the map, but I don't feel that excited.
