Yeah. I figured out how they did that really quick.

Once they turn away, the other twin runs out of there wearing a new shirt and wig.

Only thing I hated was the use of "KHAN!". It's a ****ing meme. It really undermines the death scene and I couldn't help but laugh. Should have just shown Spock 'seething with anger' in silence then cut to the next scene.

He could have yelled "Khan!" during the chase or fight scene instead. :lol

You can't be a Star Trek fan and love this movie! That's unnatural! :lol

Eh.....you can be a fan without being a whiner. I've read enough Star Trek novels to know that it's not to be taken so seriously. I just enjoy it for what it is, an alternate timeline that can pretty much do whatever they want.

I watched it last night, it was entertaining enough. Cumberbatch was blander than I expected, but otherwise, good stuff. It was ballsy to redo WoK, but they did a serviceable job imo.

I agree. I think a seething, intense, boiling Spock is much more scary and emotional than just seeing him burst out like any old "human".

There's nothing like that seething anger Spock shows in ST6 when he bats the phaser out of Valeris's hand. You see that deep, profound anger coming from the depths of his soul, just peeking out, and it is way more intense and frightening than a shouting match would have been. Ditto when he shows that bit of pain after his mind meld and he says with a slight break in his voice, "She does not know."

And you wouldn't believe the idiots that were calling that rape. :cuckoo:

I thought it was a hell of a lot more entertaining than pacific rim.
Story was bollox but at least it had one of sorts. And I am a Star Trek fan, and yes, Wrath is a great movie. Who cares though? This one was just going for entertainment value. It worked. It didn't **** on Wrath, and if you didn't know the original it didn't make any difference, not sure why some folk got up in arms about it?
