Holy cow! I didn't realize that Hulk was that big! I got mine today, but haven't had time to open him yet. I figured he would be a couple of inches shorter than Monger.

The thigh ball-joint cracks issue is really not a big deal, though (in most cases). Everyone had had their Iron Mongers for quite a while without noticing the problem, when someone posted pics and all of us went back to check ours. In my case, I'd never have seen them had it not been for it being posted here. I had to check under very harsh light and at the right angle to see them. Even though I can be a little obsessive about flaws, in this case I'm not bothered in the least. I'd still highly recommend picking one up if one happens to be on the fence.

Agreed. This figure is absolutely amazing! The stress cracks are barely noticeable (I mean BARELY too) and they don't impair the functions of the socket joints either. Get one if you can! It is a marvel to behold! :rock

I've had cracks out of the box but I honestly think 9 out of 10 figures will have varying degrees of cracks. I think it's just due to the design. In order to get a tight hip ball joint, they had to design it the way they did. I'm not saying I like it but as long as it doesn't get any worse I can live with it.

It's kind of funny because I'm very ****/OCD about my figures. I want each and every one to be perfect. With Monger, I think no matter how many times you tried to exchange him, you're ultimately going to end up with some sort of crack. This is just a case of accepting what can't be changed. He's awesome and imposing and I'm glad I have him. There are too many pros about this figure to worry about the cons.
I think it's a credit to HT engineering. Even though there is an obvious manufacturing/assembly defect, to me it's easily overlooked.

Just one geek's opinion. Sorry for the ramble. Beer.

Edit: a. n. a. l. is the word before OCD.

Thanks Invictus. Every once in a while, I have something insightful to say.

Had about a three paragraph ramble speaking about Raimi's Spider Man vs Webb's reboot/re-imagining. I thought I made some really great points...then my phone died. I'll never get that lightning in a bottle back. I think my point was that Raimi brought Spider Man to the big screen, which was great but now is almost unwatchable to me. ASM seems much truer to the source, IMO. I have absolutely no qualms with Garfield's portrayal of the character. He's a huge Spider Man fan and it shows in his performance.

Lizard with a human like face and no gator snout is my biggest nit pick. If they made Connor like McFarlane's lizard, all other shortcomings could be more easily overlooked.

I really need to put down the iPad. Went way off topic and I apologize. Will only happen a few more times.

In that case, you probably did receive one with cracks already. :(

No cracks out of box I checked because saw was a issue on this page so checked when first got it. There totally fine tho nothing major or not even a problem just notice over time my figure now has them and did not have them when I got it

Man I just open mine and it has 1 crack on each leg bummed out but it seems everyone that has gotten has said they have cracks as well.

I still haven't noticed cracks on mine, but also I haven't really looked that hard. Even if they are there, the cracks I've seen form on other's are out if view.

The cracks are barely noticeable, I wouldn't have noticed it if it wasn't brought up in this forum, its no biggie; i've posed him multiple times over and over again and the legs are fine; don't worry about the cracks.

Anyone have a close up picture of the cracking on their figure?

I inspected mine last night and couldn't find anything but I may be looking in the wrong place :huh
